About James O'Connor

An experienced financial advisor, Jim has stuck with his career in wealth management because of his passion for helping people. He was licensed in 1985 and has worked in financial services ever since. Working closely with his son since 2011, Jim understands the value of guidance and the importance of balance in both personal and professional spaces. He implements this knowledge throughout his client interactions. Jim is glad to spend time with his wife and son both on and off the clock.

Prior to joining the financial services field, Jim studied at Drake University and competed in the NFL. Outside of servicing his clients, Jim spends time with his family which has grown to include grandchildren. He and Gail have two labs and one lab-mix they recently rescued.

His experiences outside the financial services industry allow Patrick to understand the importance of preserving and growing the assets his clients worked their entire lives to attain.

He helps clients create a plan for retirement through proactive and innovative investment strategies. When it comes to ongoing service, he strives to ensure prompt responses to any inquiry they may have. He practices transparency by utilizing firm tools to simplify and demonstrate his investment decision making process to clients.

Patrick finds genuine fulfillment in problem solving and building client confidence. In his free time, he spends time with his young son and daughter. He also enjoys golf and sports in general, but especially when playing competitively or with his son.

Sarah provides expertise across advanced planning topics including tax mitigation strategies, charitable giving, trust and estate planning, and equity compensation. Sarah began her career in financial services in 2014 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2022. Prior to her current position, she was a financial advisor and director of Financial Planning Operations at Thrivent Financial.
