Alan Greenberg has been the senior member of The North Shore Group since 2004. Our mission is to provide personalized private and corporate wealth management services customized to your needs. The group is managing over $250,000,000 in client assets with 58 years of combined industry experience as of January 30, 2018. The team was designed with one goal in mind, to create an individualized “hands on” atmosphere for their clients while using the resources of one of the world’s leading wealth management firms.

The team focuses on using a global thematic approach in constructing clients’ portfolios. Our group advises a select number of families and businesses while drawing on the global resources available through the various platforms of Morgan Stanley and the affiliated organizations. The group can regularly be seen hosting seminars every few weeks year round. The North Shore Group is a proactive, energetic team with our clients goals our top priority.

About Me

Alan R. Greenberg, Senior Vice President, Senior Investment Management Consultant, Portfolio Manager Director, Financial Advisor, has been an investment professional for more than 35 years and a founding partner of the North Shore Group.  Alan’s mission is to make a difference in his clients’ lives through education and providing holistic wealth planning services with passion and integrity. He listens carefully to clients’ goals, values and concerns and works tirelessly to help them achieve their personal and financial objectives.

Alan graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego and received his B.S. degree in Business Administration. With Alan’s extensive experience, he has developed a strong understanding of economics and thematic investing.  He teaches an annual course at The Chautauqua Institute in upstate NY reviewing current market conditions and trends, and has been a guest lecturer at Hofstra University and Molloy College.  He also speaks at investment seminars frequently hosted by our team. 

Alan is a salient member of the Long Beach community in New York, where he has lived since childhood.  He was formerly on the Board of Trustees and served as president for the Long Beach Public Library, and he was also past president of the Kiwanis in Long Beach where he served on the Board of Directors.  He currently lives in Long Beach with his daughter Melinda and dog Max.  In his spare time, he enjoys bike riding, skiing, archery and volleyball.

About Me

Victoria K. Leung, CFA, Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Management Associate, is an integral part of the North Shore Group experience.  She is in charge of portfolio trading and leads the operations for the team.  Vicky received her Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation in 2016.  As a CFA charter holder, Vicky has acquired an advanced skill-set in investment management and analysis.  Her responsibilities include helping to monitor and assist with daily client activity, conducting periodic performance reviews of client portfolios, and collaborating in the team’s marketing and investment strategies.  Vicky has a B.S. degree in Financial Economics from Binghamton University.  She resides in Long Island, NY with her husband and miniature dachshund.

About Me

Christopher R Madson is a Financial Advisor and Financial Planning Specialist who has been at Morgan Stanley for two years. Chris graduated with a B.S. degree from Molloy College in Rockville Centre NY. Chris was a founding member of Molloy College’s Bloomberg Mayors Challenge consulting group.  Chris can also be seen regularly speaking at Molloy College to the young entrepreneurs of tomorrow about the market.

Chris has built a successful practice helping individuals, families, professionals and organizations effectively manage their finances.  From personal and professional experiences, he has learned that life brings unexpected tribulations that can lead to financial decisions becoming emotional rather than rational, so he strives to manage the emotional aspects of investing as well.

When Chris is not in the office or meeting with clients he spends his time with his wife at their home in Massapequa Park, NY.  Chris is an avid car enthusiast as well as enjoys bike riding around Long Island
