Meet The New York Latin America Group

About Juan Lacroze

Juan Lacroze has spent over thirty years helping successful families in the US, Latin America, and the Caribbean reach their financial goals. He worked for a variety of financial organizations prior to joining Morgan Stanley, where he primarily serviced affluent families, corporations, and banks, with a main focus on commodities and fixed income. In 2002, he co-founded the New York Latin America Group (a multi-family office) supported by Wells Fargo Advisors (formerly known as Wachovia Securities), where he pooled his combined experiences in order to cater to the unique needs of US and international clients. In October of 2008, the New York Latin America Group joined Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management.

Juan was born in Argentina, and he currently resides in Lloyd Harbor, New York with his wife. They have three children, and enjoys golfing and skiing in his free time.

About Juan Carlos Carrera

Juan Carlos Carrera is an Executive Director in the Private Wealth Managing division of Morgan Stanley and has a career in the Financial Industry since 1987. Juan Carlos’ expertise is focus on advising successful families across Latin America, the Caribbean and the United States, managing their wealth by implementing an investment strategy to meet their financial goals.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he co-founded the New York Latin America Group (NYLAG) in 2002, a multifamily office under the legal and financial structure of Wachovia Securities (Wells Fargo Advisors) to cater to the unique needs of families across Latin America. In October 2008, Juan Carlos and the NYLAG team made the transition to Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management division.

Juan Carlos has worked in New York City since 1987 and goes back and forth between Connecticut and Florida with his wife. He has four children and a cherished grandson. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and equestrian sports.

Christian Carrera is a Private Wealth Advisor who joined Morgan Stanley in June 2011. He attended Boston College and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Finance and Economics. Following his graduation, Christian spent eight years working in Private Wealth Management at the firm prior to transitioning to his current position.

Christian resides in Southport, Connecticut, with his wife, Kaitlyn. He is also an active member of his community, where he serves on the board of the Enspice Children's Foundation, which focuses on ending child malnutrition around the world. In his free time, Christian enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
