Based in downtown Fort Lauderdale, The New River Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley is a team of ten seasoned financial professionals with over 150 years of collective experience managing assets and mitigating risks for affluent families and business owners. Each member of our team offers a unique and diverse perspective on investments, wealth planning, operations, and financial decision-making. Our mission is to help you manage your wealth with a long-term approach and an unwavering focus on your family's goals and best interests. We pride ourselves on delivering concierge-level service to our clients; using good judgment; following a comprehensive process to investing; maintaining strong communication; and building meaningful relationships with our clients.

About Shaun Orcinolo
Shaun helps families develop a customized family wealth management plan utilizing values-based wealth planning strategies, which takes into consideration his client's long term financial objectives; the human capital of their family; philanthropic aspirations; and legacy planning needs. Shaun's knowledge base of the complex financial markets, economic landscapes, and family dynamics runs extremely deep. With 30 years of experience, Shaun spends an incredible amount of time working with families to understand their appropriate asset allocation, specific investment goals, cash flow needs, and succession planning strategies.
In 2012, Shaun earned Morgan Stanley's prestigious Family Wealth Director (FWD) designation – a designation held by approximately 5% of Morgan Stanley's Financial Advisors. In 2018, Shaun earned the Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM®) designation offered jointly by Columbia University's School of Engineering and Applied Science and the Academy of Certified Portfolio Managers (ACPM®). In 2025, Shaun was selected for the Morgan Stanley Global Sports and Entertainment Director designation program. As a member of this specialized group, Shaun is dedicated to serving the unique and complex needs of athletes, entertainers, creators and top professionals in the sports and entertainment industry.
Shaun is a past member of the Board of Directors of the United Cerebral Palsy of South Florida and a founder of the Ziff Jewish Museum of Florida and Next Generation – Miami Jewish Home & Hospital. He is a past president of the Hope Center in Miami and past Chairman of the Family Advisory Council at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
Outside of work, Shaun enjoys attending concerts, riding his bike, and spending time with his family. Shaun's interests also include major league baseball and film history.

About Barry Klein
Barry helps clients manage portfolios containing money market, currency, equity, fixed income, hedging techniques, commodities, structured products and real estate investments. Barry earned an A.A. degree in business and then attended Broward College. In his spare time, Barry raises funds for the local American Cancer Society chapter and various local charities. Barry and his wife, Jaime, have two children and reside in Boca Raton.

About John Kirk
John earned his degree from the University of Florida. He is an active supporter of St. Jude Children’s Hospital and The David Sheldrick Wildlife Fund. He has served as the Chairman of the Endowment Committee and the Board of Trustee's, as well as the Finance and Legacy Committees for All Saints Episcopal Church.
John along with his wife, Arlie, and their two children reside in Plantation and are active members of All Saints Episcopal Church.

Jarrett was born and raised in Weston Florida, then attended Florida State University for his higher education. Jarrett currently resides in Fort Lauderdale. He’s an avid sports fan and supports all of the local teams. Jarrett enjoys playing sports and attending sporting events, traveling, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

About Lauren Fiori
Born and raised in New York, Lauren graduated from the University of Florida with her Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Real Estate. Shortly after graduation, Lauren began her career in the financial services industry here at Morgan Stanley as a Wealth Advisor Associate (WAA) in 2021. In this role, Lauren worked with over 250 Financial Advisors across the South Florida region to help them implement financial planning into their practice.
Lauren is a licensed Registered Representative with FINRA holding her Series 7 and 66 Licenses, plus she holds her Life, Health and Variable Annuities Insurance license. In August of 2024, Lauren earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. This designation is awarded to candidates who have demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of education, investment, tax, retirement, estate and insurance planning strategies. CFP® professionals must accrue several years of experience related to delivering financial planning services to clients and pass a comprehensive exam.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and Mini-Goldendoodle named Winston.

About Liuby Meriño
After many years of handling administrative duties, she decided to expand her skill set and join The New River Wealth Management Group as a Senior Client Associate. Liuby is Series 7 & 63 licensed.
Outside of work, her greatest joys are spending time with her family and traveling. She is married has a young son and 2 mischievous dogs.
About Belinda C. Galbraith
From the largest task to the smallest request, Belinda works diligently to exceed client expectations. Her primary responsibilities include onboarding new clients, ensuring client account information is up to date, and performing operational tasks that support the team in the day-to-day management of their wealth management practice.
She joined Morgan Stanley in 2008 where she maintains all of her FINRA licenses, which include Series, 7, 31, 63 and 66.
Belinda comes from a large family and is happily married with three daughters and 3 grandchildren. She loves the outdoors, loves to travel and eat authentic foods.

About John Fanning
Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.
John began his career in financial services in 1992, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2010 as a Financial Advisor. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Commercial Banker at SunTrust Bank (now Truist Bank) and Bank United. He also also served as a Finance Manager at Merrill Lynch Business Financial Services.
John is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with his family. Outside of the office, John enjoys coaching and watching his sons excel in sports, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on all South Florida sports team.

The Wealth Manager Platform of the Year category recognizes a wealth manager platform that exemplifies innovation in delivering better outcomes for investors and Financial Advisors. This award has been secured in 2024, 2021, 2020, 2019 & 2018. The winners were selected by a specially appointed MMI Industry Awards Steering Council. The Steering Council consists of representatives from all segments of the MMI membership. After carefully reviewing the nominations submitted, the Steering Council determined a slate of finalists in each award category. The primary contacts at each of MMI’s 207 member firms were eligible to vote to determine the winners. Nominations were reviewed and evaluated to determine finalists June 2024 - July 2024. Finalists were voted on to determine a winner August 2024. MMI/Barron’s does not receive compensation from the participating firms in exchange for the award and Morgan Stanley did not pay a fee to MMI/Barron’s in exchange for its receipt of the award. 2) Industry’s top tax-optimization technology refers to tax management capabilities developed by Eaton Vance and Parametric, affiliates of Morgan Stanley. Morgan Stanley is a leading provider of direct indexing strategies. According to Cerulli Associates’ Q1 2026 Managed Account Edition, Morgan Stanley ranked first among 15 firms in Direct Index SMA assets under management based on reported industry assets. The ranking reflects scale of assets and does not evaluate tax outcomes, performance, or quality of technology. Tax outcomes will vary and are not guaranteed.
3) The Celent Model Wealth Manager 2025 Awards for Data and Analytics and Essential and Emerging Technologies were granted to Morgan Stanley following an evaluation process conducted by Celent analysts. To be considered for this award, Morgan Stanley submitted Model Wealth Manager 2025 Nomination Award Worksheets to Celent on or about January 30, 2025. Celent judged each submission on three criteria: (1) Measurable business benefits of live initiatives; (2) degree of innovation relative to the industry; and (3) technology or implementation excellence. In order to win, the initiatives must demonstrate clear business benefits, innovation, and technology or implementation excellence. Celent does not receive compensation from the participating firms in exchange for the award and Morgan Stanley did not pay a fee to Celent in exchange for the award.
