Meet The Myers Group

About Jonathan Myers

Jonathan Myers joined Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor in the Danville, IL office in 2004. He holds a B.S. and an MBA from the University of Illinois as well as a Certificate in Financial Planning from DePaul University. Over the years, he has served on numerous community, civic, and not-for-profit boards and has volunteered as an emergency medical technician. In addition to his career at Morgan Stanley, Jonathan was trained in music at Heartland College, the University of Illinois, and the University of Notre Dame and has served the last 19 years as a church organist and choir director. In his free time, he enjoys flying and restoring vintage/classic aircraft and is a licensed pilot and mechanic. Jonathan is a Captain in the Civil Air Patrol, United State Air Force Auxiliary and serves as a cadet/ROTC orientation pilot and a transport mission pilot. An avid nature lover, Jonathan is an Eagle Scout and has served as president of the local conservation district. He and his wife, Aubrey, have four children.

About Judy Myers

Judith K. Myers is a First Vice President and Wealth Advisor with the Myers Group at Morgan Stanley in Danville, IL with over 35 years financial services experience. She holds a B.S. and M.S. in Business Education from Eastern Illinois University and was named a Distinguished Alumna in 1984. She began her career as a business instructor at Danville Area Community College (DACC) and was the first director of the college’s Business and Economic Institute. In 1981, she was awarded the first “Woman Educator of the Year” by the American Association of University Women. Using her experience in business education, she co-authored the textbook Professional Office Procedures, published by McGraw Hill. In 1983, Judy joined Palmer Bank (now Old National) as the bank’s Vice President. While at Palmer Bank, she organized the bank’s first marketing department and was inducted into the Illinois Bankers Association’s Hall of Fame. Judy joined Blunt Ellis and Loewi in 1990 as a broker and transitioned to Dean Witter (now Morgan Stanley) in 1995. Judy has served on many community boards including serving as past president of the local hospital foundation and the Schlarman High School Foundation. She and her husband Alan are long-time members of the Danville community, residing in the historic 1886 home they restored.
