Our Mission Statement
Experience, intellectual capital and dedicated personal service to help you meet your life goals
Welcome
Our mission is to provide high quality cradle-to-grave investment management advice to a limited number of high-net-worth individuals and families. Over the years, we’ve noticed that all of our clients –– from business owners to academics to large families –– embody an entrepreneurial spirit. They’ve forged their own paths and achieved success on their own terms.
MPD Boston Harbor Wealth Management Group, that entrepreneurial spirit resonates strongly. Each and every day, we pay our respect to the hard work you’ve put in to earn your wealth, by working just as hard to help you protect and grow it for decades to come.
WE GUIDE YOU EVERY STEP OF THE WAY
Whether it’s your transition into retirement, a sudden family emergency, a complex business need, or a simple question like “is now the right time to buy a second home?” –– we help you navigate every step of your financial journey. We view ourselves as client advocates. Our job is to filter out the hyperbole and noise endemic to Wall Street and describe strategies specific to each client’s needs and goals. Even if the challenge requires an outside resource, we’ll stay by your side to help make sure the process goes smoothly. Put simply, we’re in your corner. And we always will be.
WE’RE NEVER DONE LEARNING. EVER.
There are always new challenges on the horizon. New opportunities and new risks. That’s why we’re always seeking new ways to enhance our offering. With the world-class resources of Morgan Stanley, we can help you overcome whatever obstacles you and your loved ones face.
THE PINNACLE OF WEALTH MANAGEMENT
From a Family Wealth Director to a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® to a CFP®–– our guidance is backed by some of the most elite designations in wealth management, not to mention nearly a century of combined experience. As Senior Portfolio Management Directors, Stuart and Chris have achieved a designation shared by less than 5% of Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors. In addition, the group is responsible for more than $2B in client assets (as of 02/08/2024).
For a second opinion about your current investments, or to talk about your goals, please call us at (617) 589-3217

OUR Relationship
At the MPD Boston Harbor Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley*, our goal is to consistently deliver the highest grade financial advice and excellent client service. As a team, we take our clients trust and managing their assets very seriously. We utilize traditional and non-traditional asset class parings to help manage the risk concerns prevalent today and access some of the industries most desired asset managers that are best suited for our client’s particular goal, need and risk tolerance. In doing this, we put our clients on a level playing field with some of the most sophisticated institutional investment practices in the world.
We have experienced crashes, flash-crashes, wars, panics, Great Recessions, and more than a few bouts of "irrational exuberance." Steady hands and calm voices have always marked our response to volatile markets. Our goal is to act as a salve over a wounded portfolio or the voice of reason when presented with irrational markets.
Working with us, we digest the complexities of the industry and educate our clients-- simplifying your understanding and your financial life while still offering high-level solutions to your most involved issues. Using Morgan Stanley's breadth of resources, products, and services, we are able to offer a variety of unbiased options for our clients. With this open architecture platform, it is our job to find the most appropriate, cost efficient fit for your individual needs. In doing this, our practice is truly client centric.
At Boston Harbor Wealth Management Group, your utmost satisfactory experience is essential to our practice. We strive to be the Family Wealth Office for you, your family and your business.

OUR FAMILY APPROACH
Nothing is more important than family. But sometimes, nothing can seem more challenging than dealing with family matters, especially when money is involved. With a Family Wealth Director heading our team, we’re able to help you achieve a wide range of legacy goals: whether you’re looking to create a nest egg for your children, support your grandchildren’s college education, or make a charitable impact.
We Offer A Family Perspective
Our team members belong to a wide range of generations, and most of us come from large families ourselves. Here’s why that’s important:
• With “fluency” in the perspectives of different age groups, we can communicate effectively with all members of your family.
• We understand how to navigate complex family dynamics, and moreover we see it as part of our job.
• When we take you on as a client, we truly are making a lifelong commitment to you and your loved ones.
• With “fluency” in the perspectives of different age groups, we can communicate effectively with all members of your family.
• We understand how to navigate complex family dynamics, and moreover we see it as part of our job.
• When we take you on as a client, we truly are making a lifelong commitment to you and your loved ones.
Your Legacy, Your Values
According to recent study, 70% of wealthy families lose their wealth by the second generation, and 90% by the third. That’s absolutely unacceptable, and it points to a glaring gap in wealth management: financial education. We strive to close that gap by empowering your adult children and grandchildren with an understanding of how to value, manage, and protect money for long-term security.
A Family Commitment
Divorce. Health concerns. A loved one’s passing. These are highly emotional moments in a person’s life. But they can also create complex financial scenarios. With our clients, we often find ourselves starting sentences: “If this were my mother’s money, here’s what I would do.” That’s because we treat our clients like family members. And like family, we are here for you through thick and thin.

Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. 5Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate.
