    Meet The Mitchell, O'Bradaigh Group

    About Me

    Neil Mitchell has 30 years of experience providing financial advice to families and individuals with significant wealth. Neil joined Morgan Stanley in late 2008 after spending most of his career at Lehman Brothers.  He was attracted to the collaborative culture at Morgan Stanley, the Firm’s extensive resources and Private Wealth Management’s boutique structure. Neil and his team provide an array of Family Office services, including Cash Management, Lending, Investments, Trust & Estate Planning Strategies, and Philanthropy Management. Neil has been designated a Morgan Stanley Global Sports and Entertainment director. He is also an Alternative Investments Director, acknowledging his hedge fund and private equity investing experience.

    Neil has been named to Forbes' Best-In-State Wealth Advisors (2018), Barron’s Top 1,200 Financial Advisors (2016-2018), and The Financial Times’ Top 400 Financial Advisors (2016-2018).  He has also been named to Morgan Stanley’s prestigious Chairman’s Club, an elite group composed of the firm’s top Financial Advisors every year since 2014.

    Neil graduated from Lehigh University with a B.S. from the School of Business and Economics. He is a member of the Family Office Council at the NYU Stern School of Business.

    Neil supports a variety of philanthropic organizations generally in the areas of poverty, homelessness and education. Neil’s philanthropic focus is to help scale organizations that have missions aligned with his and his family’s values, need help growing and have an extraordinary leader. Neil wants to “make a difference” with financial support and just as importantly, by sharing his experience regarding governance, board development and fund raising. Neil and his wife are sponsors of the "I Have a Dream" Foundation. They are providing after-school support to roughly 100 students of P.S. 7 in East Harlem, New York. Additionally, they will provide the financial backing for any of their students accepted to institutions of higher education.

    Neil’s team at Morgan Stanley is currently sponsoring and mentoring an underprivileged ninth grader through the Student Sponsor Partners program. The student has been given the opportunity to attend a non-public high school in NYC. Neil’s team also provides mentoring to the student. They will serve as his sponsor and mentor for his full four years of high school.

    Neil currently serves on the Board of Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York and is a past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Project Renewal, a leading homeless organization in New York City.  Neil is also a past member of the Board of Trustees of Central Synagogue in New York City where he served on the executive committee and chaired the investment committee.

    Neil and his wife Shelly live in New York City and Pound Ridge, NY. They have three adult children and a very demanding English Bulldog. When Neil is not at work, you can find him spending time with his family, rooting for the New York Jets and Rangers, inspecting his beehives or going to the theater with Shelly.

    About Me

    Cillian O’Bradaigh is responsible for providing execution services to a sophisticated client base that includes ultra high net worth individuals, private banks, trust companies, hedge funds, family offices and multifamily offices. Cillian also constructs asset allocation models to be populated with best-of-breed managers from Morgan Stanley’s open architecture platform.

    Cillian began his private wealth management career at Lehman Brothers in 1990 after graduating from Trinity College Dublin with undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in economics and business studies. He is a board member of The Ireland-US Council for Commerce & Industry and of The Paul Chester Children’s Hope Foundation.

    James Lindsay focuses on portfolio analytics and research, and facilitates reviews of complex family portfolios. James manages client orders across equities, options, fixed income, foreign exchange and syndicate markets, and supports clients with placement in alternative investment strategies.  Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, James worked for Westminster Research Associates in its commission management group.  He graduated from Villanova University's School of Business in 2011 with a major in finance.

    About Me

    Nick Crucet focuses on research portfolio analytics and asset allocation. He also conducts due diligence on current and prospective money managers. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2015, Nick worked for JPMorgan in their credit valuation group, where he performed analysis and price testing for liquid and illiquid credit products. He graduated from Columbia University in 2013 with a major in financial economics, and was a four-year starter for their baseball team.

    About Me

    Grier Poole is a recent graduate from Bucknell University with a major in Economics. She began her career at Morgan Stanley as a summer intern in the Private Wealth Management division.  Grier's personable nature and admirable work ethic earned her a full time position with The Mitchell O'Bradaigh Group.   As a Client Service Associate, Grier's primary focus is on client relationship management, administrative functions, performance reporting, and the team's marketing efforts. Grier also enjoys cooking, spinning, and reading.  She currently resides in Rye, New York.
