About Stephan Micklos

Stephan is a Senior Vice President, Global Sports and Entertainment Director, Alternative Investment Director, Financial Advisor, Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) and founding partner of The Micklos Group at Morgan Stanley, a highly skilled team of wealth management professionals located in Holladay, Utah.

A seasoned wealth advisor with more than 26 years of experience, Stephan focuses on helping successful individuals, athletes, coaches, families and business owners build and preserve their wealth. He is passionate about helping athletes create sustainable plans for cementing a healthy financial future. In 2018, 2019, 2020 & 2023 by Forbes as a “Best in State Wealth Advisor”.

A graduate of the University of Utah where he earned his B.S. degree in Finance, Stephan began his career in financial services at Merrill Lynch in 1998. It is here where he built his practice, working closely with business owners to build and grow their organizations. Over time, he expanded his practice to provide a comprehensive suite of services to not only business owners, but successful professionals, corporate executives, coaches, athletes and their families. Today, The Micklos Group is a well-established advisory group focused on helping clients at every stage of their financial journey. They proudly joined Morgan Stanley in December 2019.

Throughout his career, Stephan has been involved in numerous transactions involving the purchase and sale of private companies. He is a Portfolio Manager who, in addition to providing traditional wealth management advice and services, guides clients in the pursuit of their goals by building and managing personalized investment strategies. These strategies often include access to private markets and Alternative Investments.

Originally from Anaheim, CA, Stephan now calls Holladay his home. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with family. Stephan has volunteered as a High School Football coach since 2015.

She began her career as a financial advisor when she joined Merrill Lynch in 2006 and became a member of The Micklos Group in 2008. She is a Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) from the National Association of Plan Advisors and maintains her Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. Nicole joined Morgan Stanley in December 2019.

A Utah native who spent 14 years in London, Paris and Madrid, Nicole now lives in Salt Lake City. In her leisure time, she enjoys the symphony, opera, ballet, traveling, tennis and spending time with her children.

During her tenure there, she held various roles in Sales and Marketing, eventually working her way to Vice President and General Manager. Prior to joining The Micklos Group, she was responsible for structuring and growing the business-to-business division of The Kansas City Steak Company. Cassie started her new career at Merrill Lynch and moved with the team to Morgan Stanley in 2019.

Cassie graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. degree in Speech Communication. She maintains her Series 7 and 66 FINRA registrations. In her spare time, Cassie enjoys travelling with her husband Joe and all things outdoors. Favorite activities include volleyball, golfing, hiking and walking her dog Dexter.
