The MGG Group is a tightly knit team of seasoned professionals who combine complimentary skill sets to help highly affluent families and individuals address the challenges of managing their wealth. Collectively, our team has extensive experience: constructing customized investment portfolios, helping create multigenerational estate planning structures (both before and after a liquidity event), establishing private Family Foundations and Donor Advised Funds, as well as working closely with our investment banking colleagues to provide institutional solutions.

Our primary goal is to protect our clients’ interests by helping them make informed decisions regarding all of their investment and wealth management needs. We are highly focused on delivering our clients the full breadth of financial solutions (e.g. trust and estate planning, tax planning, corporate executive services, philanthropy, family governance, lending and insurance) through an integrated approach with our internal subject matter experts alongside our clients’ trusted estate and tax advisors. We recognize that asset location, titling of assets and overall structure of accounts, plays an extremely impactful role on our clients’ long-term goals.

We look forward to learning more about your specific needs and aspirations, and discussing the resources and solutions that we can bring to bear for you.

Discovery Process
Investing the time to learn about you and your family; your assets and liabilities and the risk exposures, enables us to formulate strategies and customize the relationship to your needs.
Formulation of Tax, Trust and Estate Strategy
Working with your tax and legal advisors, we help analyze your income and estate tax circumstances to identify and tailor planning techniques that may be used to address your objectives.
Creation of Customized Strategic Asset Allocation
Your customized asset allocation reflects risk, opportunities and taxation across multiple entities, while integrating your investing and estate plans.
Integration of Tactical Asset Allocation
Short-term adjustments seek to capitalize on temporary market distortions. Before making adjustments, we analyze the impact of taxes and trading costs on potential returns.
Implementation of a Customized Wealth Strategy
After comprehensive due diligence and analysis of expected results across multiple market scenarios, strategies are chosen from our expansive investment platform.
Ongoing Assessment
In coordination with your other advisors, we can conduct ongoing reviews and comprehensive reporting to ensure that your strategy adapts to changing financial and family needs.
  • Clients
We serve as investment advisors and advocates to a select clientele of highly accomplished individuals, families, family offices and foundations. Some of our clients are still actively involved building the enterprises that created their wealth. Others are the guardians of legacies that have already endured for generations. They all tend to be active in their communities, spending significant amounts of time focused on family and philanthropic endeavors. That leaves little time to focus on managing their personal wealth. Our role is to help them develop comprehensive strategies to protect their assets and simplify their financial lives, leaving them free to enjoy the rewards of their success.
  • Philosophy
With our primary goal being to protect our clients’ interests by helping them make informed decisions regarding all of their investment and wealth management needs, our guiding principles are quite simple. We treat our clients like we would want to be treated if we were in their position. We serve as their advisors and advocates, sitting on the same side of the table in all matters. We maintain full transparency in our own dealings. Our goal is to build long-term relationships based on mutual trust and respect, preferably with every member of our client families. That often includes working with the younger generations of our client families, assisting with family governance issues and financial education.
