About Arturo R Medina

Art Medina’s financial services career began in 1984 as a branch office wire operator with Merrill Lynch where he quickly established himself as an insightful Financial Advisor. He began forming long-lasting client relationships while simultaneously working his way through successive managerial positions, including Operations Manager, Branch Manager, Compliance Officer, and Professional Development Center Manager. In 2000, Art joined Legg Mason, a predecessor to Morgan Stanley. He became a partner with the Cooper Medina Cale Group in 2003, which became the Medina Cale Group at Morgan Stanley in 2010.

Art has received numerous achievement awards, including membership in the Morgan Stanley Century Club in 2011, 2012, and 2013, the Smith Barney Hispanic Council in 2007, and the Blue Chip Council in 2006, 2007, and 2008. Art grew up in El Paso, Texas, and spent eight years traveling the world with the Navy before joining Merrill Lynch. He is married, with five children.

About James H Cale III

James (Jamie) Cale’s financial career began in 1998 as an intern for Marc Cooper, founder of the Cooper Bonnewell Group at Legg Mason. While attending Christopher Newport University, Jamie trained under Marc to learn all aspects of securities trading. Jamie developed astute skills in technical money management and investment strategy.

Jamie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 2002 and, only one year later, had worked his way to a partner position with the Cooper Bonnewell Group.

As Portfolio Manager of the Medina Cale Group, Jamie focuses on asset allocation and money management. He develops personalized investment strategies that are designed to balance risk versus reward. This is achieved once the team has a clear understanding of the client’s risk tolerance, goals, and investment timeframe.

About Camela W. Steele

Camela Steele is a Portfolio Associate with almost 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, 27 of which have been supporting the Medina Cale Group. Her primary focus is on strategic operational and administrative support.

Camela graduated from East Carolina University, where she received a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She began her career in management at Walt Disney World before moving into the world of finance in the back office of Legg Mason, a predecessor to Morgan Stanley. For several years, she provided staff support for the Legg Mason branches. She specialized in retirement services after spending a year in the premier banking department.

Today, Camela runs the back office of the Medina Cale Group. One of her major roles is to track, organize, and manage the reports that are prepared for their clients, as well as to troubleshoot and help to solve any kind of client issue that may arise. Her disciplined approach and significant experience allows the Medina Cale Group to remain proactive with their clients, ensuring a superior level of client care.

Camela is married with two sons. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Hampton Roads. An avid sports fan, Camela enjoys watching collegiate sports.
