About Susannah M. Townsend

Susannah is not just a financial advisor; she's a passionate advocate for her clients’ overall financial wellbeing. Her commitment is deeply rooted in her desire to serve as an active participant in their lives. Susannah guides families helping them envision their financial aspirations by gaining an understanding of the personal family dynamics along with their passions, concerns, and values. The goal is to respect these various aspects of their lives as well as their career goals and provide sound financial advice to guide them toward their goals.

Susannah's approach is all encompassing and could include budgeting, educational planning, setting retirement goals and reviewing estate plans and life insurance. Once she has the complete picture, she creates a comprehensive financial plan to achieve these goals with the least amount of risk. Susannah diligently implements and regularly revisits the plan, adapting it as its circumstances change all while participating in her clients lives and treating each one uniquely.

Her upbringing exposed her to the financial industry at a young age, specifically she learned from her mother who was one of the first female advisors in the Tampa Bay Area. Her mother's influence and example were instrumental in shaping her career path and they worked for many years together until her mother retired. Susannah joined her mother after graduating from the University of Florida in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She furthered her education in the evenings after work earning her CFP designation in 1996 and obtaining her MBA in Finance, Marketing and International Business in 1998.

On a personal note, Susannah deeply cherishes her family and she enjoys hosting family gatherings. She has two daughters attending FSU and enjoys the playful family rivalry. Susannah is also a die-hard Tampa Bay Lightning fan. She rarely misses a home game and travels to see at least one game on the road each year. This is a passion she shares with her daughters. Beyond sports, Susannah’s other passions include fitness and training, cooking and eating out and exploring new cuisines, wine, kayaking and traveling.

About Scott F. Heyer

Scott started his financial services career after graduating from the University of Tampa in 1989. Prior to joining his colleagues in wealth management in 2003, Scott worked with asset management firms and raised over $2.5 billion in capital. As a Portfolio Manager he oversees portfolio construction and the implementation of risk-based investment strategies that align with our clients’ customized financial plans.

He is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) and works with entrepreneurs and business owners of privately held companies. Services focus on transition / exit planning strategies for liquidity events through both strategic and financial buyers.

He is recognized as an Executive Financial Services (EFS) Director with Morgan Stanley’s Corporate Client Group and works with corporate executives and board members on employee stock plans.

Scott has volunteered with many community organizations including Feeding America and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay. He resides in south Tampa and has 3 kids. He is a member of Tampa Yacht & Country Club, and Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla. He enjoys running, playing tennis, and traveling.

In addition to helping individuals and families with financial planning and investments, Brian focuses on qualified and non-qualified retirement plans for public and private companies. He assists with all aspects of plan design and management, including provider searches, investment policy statements, due diligence, and participant education. He coordinates corporate retirement plan services with third party administrators, attorneys, and tax advisors. He specializes in designing retirement plans aimed to maximize benefits for the owners and key executives of public and private companies.
