About Melinda D Brewer

Melinda Brewer is a Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley, where she works with clients to help them align their financial goals with thoughtful, personalized wealth management strategies. Since beginning her career as a Financial Advisor in 1995, Melinda has focused on building long-term client relationships grounded in care, clarity, and a deep understanding of each client’s priorities.

Melinda holds several professional designations, including Portfolio Manager, Financial Planning Specialist, Certified Kingdom Advisor, and Accredited Asset Management Specialist. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and was also part of SALLT Leadership Class 18.

Beyond her work with clients, Melinda is active in her community and the financial industry. She currently serves as a member of Make-A-Wish Oklahoma, an Advisory Council Member to the Oklahoma Commission on the Status of Women, and a member of the FINRA Board of Arbitrators. Her prior community service includes roles with the Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce, Payne Education Foundation Board, Red Bud Board, and Allied Arts Catalyst Board.

Outside of work, Melinda enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Gordon, have two daughters, Sienna and Samantha.

About W. Cole Osborne

Cole manages client accounts with a goal-centered mindset. Cole works to understand the purpose of his clients’ funds and develops strategies to attain his clients’ goals using crafted investment and saving techniques. In developing these strategies, Cole looks to understand the time-horizon and the level of risk that each client is comfortable taking to attain those goals.

Working with families and businesses, Cole has provided value to people’s lives and their financial future. Cole is a partner at The MB Group and Financial Planning Specialist (FPS) at Morgan Stanley. The MB Group focuses in serving multigenerational wealth. In doing so, Cole gets to work with couples, parents, grandparents, and kids to develop everyone’s financial goals and teach future generations as they grow. Cole’s main area of focus is risk management. By analyzing investments by all of their risk measurements, Cole looks to find the best opportunities for clients from a risk-adjusted metric. Cole helps clients learn about the risks they are taking both in the investment portfolio and in their financial plans.

An investment professional since 2015, Cole is a native of Oklahoma City, OK. Cole attended Classen School of Advanced Studies and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Legal Studies from the University of Central Oklahoma. Cole has his Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation. Also, Cole has trained and mentored many new advisors and enjoys getting to share his experience with other advisors. Cole has served as a field trainer and, in other roles, assisting newer advisors.

Cole and his wife Christina live in southeast Guthrie, OK, with their three children, Will, Audrey, and Elizabeth. Outside of work, Cole enjoys serving and attending his church called Bridgeway. He is a member of the Safety Team and sits as a leader of the Foster and Adoption Ministry (FAM). The Osbornes have been foster parents for many years and have enjoyed the impact they can make on the little ones that come through their home. The children and families continue to be an active part of their lives once returned to their home. In addition, Cole sits on the Finance Committee as a board member for a local non-profit named Katheryne B. Payne Education Center, Inc.

Cole’s spare time activities include hunting, fishing, hiking, golf, clay pigeon shooting, and competitive rifle shooting.

The Wealth Manager Platform of the Year category recognizes a wealth manager platform that exemplifies innovation in delivering better outcomes for investors and Financial Advisors. This award has been secured in 2024, 2021, 2020, 2019 & 2018. The winners were selected by a specially appointed MMI Industry Awards Steering Council. The Steering Council consists of representatives from all segments of the MMI membership. After carefully reviewing the nominations submitted, the Steering Council determined a slate of finalists in each award category. The primary contacts at each of MMI’s 207 member firms were eligible to vote to determine the winners. Nominations were reviewed and evaluated to determine finalists June 2024 - July 2024. Finalists were voted on to determine a winner August 2024. MMI/Barron’s does not receive compensation from the participating firms in exchange for the award and Morgan Stanley did not pay a fee to MMI/Barron’s in exchange for its receipt of the award. Morgan Stanley is a member of MMI and pays a fee to MMI as part of its membership dues. Morgan Stanley’s receipt of this award is not indicative of any future performance. These awards were granted to Morgan Stanley based on the time period from October 2023 to June 2024. The Money Management Institute (MMI) is the industry association representing financial services firms and Barron’s is a financial magazine; both groups are responsible for the award. 2) Industry’s top tax-optimization technology refers to tax management capabilities developed by Eaton Vance and Parametric, affiliates of Morgan Stanley. Morgan Stanley is a leading provider of direct indexing strategies. According to Cerulli Associates’ Q1 2026 Managed Account Edition, Morgan Stanley ranked first among 15 firms in Direct Index SMA assets under management based on reported industry assets. The ranking reflects scale of assets and does not evaluate tax outcomes, performance, or quality of technology. Tax outcomes will vary and are not guaranteed.

3) The Celent Model Wealth Manager 2025 Awards for Data and Analytics and Essential and Emerging Technologies were granted to Morgan Stanley following an evaluation process conducted by Celent analysts. To be considered for this award, Morgan Stanley submitted Model Wealth Manager 2025 Nomination Award Worksheets to Celent on or about January 30, 2025. Celent judged each submission on three criteria: (1) Measurable business benefits of live initiatives; (2) degree of innovation relative to the industry; and (3) technology or implementation excellence. In order to win, the initiatives must demonstrate clear business benefits, innovation, and technology or implementation excellence. Celent does not receive compensation from the participating firms in exchange for the award and Morgan Stanley did not pay a fee to Celent in exchange for the award. Morgan Stanley is not affiliated with Celent. Based on their submission on January 30, 2025 for Celent’s 2025 Model Awards program, Celent granted Morgan Stanley their awards in June, 2025 and publicly shared the news in June, 2025. Celent is a global financial services research and advisory firm and is responsible for determining the recipient of this award.
