About Bruno Mazzotta

An industry veteran and founder of The Mazzotta Group, Bruno brings a lifetime of experience to his role as an Executive Director and Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley. For over 35 years, he has built a thriving practice serving the specialized wealth management and financial planning needs of executives, business owners, and families.

After graduating from Nichols College with a B.S. in Finance in 1987, Bruno immediately began his career as a Financial Advisor at E.F. Hutton in Boston. Five years later, he was recruited by Smith Barney and has been with Morgan Stanley and its predecessors ever since. He has been recognized as a member of the firm’s prestigious President’s Club, an elite group composed of the firm’s top Financial Advisors.

Bruno operated his practice as a sole practitioner for the entirety of his career until 2019, which is when his son, Michael, joined the firm and The Mazzotta Group was formed. Today, with the addition of Michael Mazzotta, The Mazzotta Group has the skills and capabilities to serve a broader set of clients while staying true to the values and principles that Bruno built his practice on. Together, they look forward to helping their clients grow and preserve their wealth before and after retirement and leave a lasting legacy.

Bruno’s desire to help his clients is matched only by his dedication to his family. He and his wife, Karen, met in college, and live happily in Walpole, MA. They have three grown children: Jennifer, Michael, and Katie. Away from the office, Bruno enjoys golfing, saltwater fishing, and spending quality time with family and friends.

10Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice.
