Women in Transition - Women and Wealth: Planning for Your Financial Future
Today, women hold the majority of consumer spending power, with more than $10 trillion in US household financial assets. Despite the economic power, many women have not felt on top of their financial lives, especially in light of the pandemic and its disproportionate effects on women. Understandably, women may have financial needs/obligations different from those of men. While armed with the proper education and plan, women can feel more confident about achieving their goals.

Women and Wealth: Planning for Your Financial Future

Our Approach to Financial Planning

At the Machado Group, we are dedicated to understanding each of our clients' specific needs and goals. Our tailored approach helps us to best reach your wealth goals.
    Icon Image
    Step 1: Introductory Meeting
Our relationship begins with a meeting designed to let us get to know you, your lifestyle, and your goals for the future.
    Icon Image
    Step 2: Discovery Meeting
The next time we get together, we will work to establish your specific financial goals by reviewing your current situation and creating a suitable risk tolerance. This will be what helps you to achieve the financial outcome you dream of for yourself.
    Icon Image
    Step 3: Financial Plan Presentation
With the information you've given us, we will then present a financial plan to map out what steps we need to take to achieve financial success. It is important to take into consideration several factors that could impact the plan, such as liquidity events or insurance coverage. A holistic view of your financial information will allow us to establish the most effective financial plan.
    Icon Image
    Step 4: Next Steps
After the initial financial plan presentation, we will make further recommendations based on our analysis. This could include changes to your financial plan, investment allocation, and insurance coverage.
    Icon Image
    Step 5: Implementation Meeting
The implementation meeting provides an opportunity to create prospective custom strategies for continued success in reaching your financial goals. With our guidance, you'll have access to a comprehensive array of strategies, services, and programs that work in tandem to help grow, preserve and transfer wealth.
    Icon Image
Step 6: Monitoring and Performance Tracking
We will be constantly monitoring your assets and analyzing the performance of your portfolio to ensure your financial expectations are being met and adjusted accordingly.

Why Advice Matters

We all have goals and many of them are linked to our finances. As we know, life events rarely take on a linear trajectory. We'll all encounter hiccups in our initial plans: Needing to meet health-care needs, unexpected costs, accidents and the list goes on.

Making investment decisions and managing them on a consistent, ongoing basis, while juggling these financial goals can be overwhelming and time-consuming. This is where we can help.
    Icon Image
Aligning Investments to Help Achieve Your Goals
It's easy for all of us to get caught up in the details of our investments, but investors will often struggle to articulate what they want to achieve. As your financial advisors, we can help you to outline necessary factors to accomplish this. As we discuss in our "Executive Financial Planning" tab, the first step of our process is to learn more about you - Hear about your lifestyle, discover your preferences and outline your goals for the future. From this discussion, we can have a dialogue about your asset allocation to help you get there.
    Icon Image
Create a Plan and Stick to It
Even the strongest of financial plans on their own will not encompass all factors. With that said, a strong plan with an ongoing dialogue and relationship will give us the clarity we need and furthermore, will facilitate necessary adjustments. Your financial goals may change over the years and we're here to help you make those a reality.
    Icon Image
Unifying Your Finances with Everything Else
Many investors will put their personal life and their finances into two separate buckets, evaluating each independently of the other.
    Icon Image
    Streamlining Your Process
Over the years, we have found the most success with our clients when we're able to foster an ongoing dialogue with your tax and legal advisors. While working together, we can work to actively reduce your taxes and achieve a better grasp of your legacy and philanthropic goals.
    Icon Image
    The Benefit of a Team
We can act as a sounding board for your concerns, for your finances and how they connect to your life. Volatility in the market is difficult to bear, but panic selling, hiding out in too much cash, not considering your allocation or making other rash decisions can be extremely detrimental to your progress. Regardless of experience, it is often times rewarding to have teammates to bounce ideas off of or gain insight on additional perspectives.
