About Sandra Devich

More than twenty years ago Sandy set on a path to do meaningful work to positively impact people’s lives. She set her sights on building a practice as a financial advisor. Her aim was to increase confidence to her clients, and quickly it became her passion, with a strong belief that financial relationships are built on a foundation of trust, integrity, humility and transparency.

As a Financial Advisor, Sandy helps clients transition from their working life to their retired life by developing an income replacement strategy, with the goal of living the retirement they envision.

A division of Sandy’s practice focuses on women, especially those who are single – never-married, divorced or divorcing, or widowed - either suddenly or over a lifetime. Being a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA™) and weaving her own life story into her practice makes her empathetic to the challenges and fears that many women face, understanding that there are often two sides to financial decisions: the technical and the emotional. She tries to educate her clients to be smart about their money and how it works by building strong, respectful relationships with them. She believes that there is no mystery to it; it takes only a willingness to learn, and an advisor who listens and understands.

Sandy holds a BS degree in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and is a past President of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce Women’s Business Council, where she served on the board for ten years, while also being a board member of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce. She has been a mentor and board Vice President for Operation JumpStart – a mentoring program for low-income students – and has volunteered for School on Wheels as a tutor for homeless children. She is a fierce defender of the most vulnerable - both human and animal. Sandy enjoys the ocean, the arts, and spending time with her family.

The returns on a portfolio consisting primarily of sustainable or impact investments may be lower or higher than a portfolio that is more diversified or where decisions are based solely on investment considerations. Because sustainability and impact criteria exclude some investments, investors may not be able to take advantage of the same opportunities or market trends as investors that do not use such criteria. Diversification does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss in a declining financial market.
