About David P Livingston

David began his career with Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc. in 1995 after graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University. Shortly thereafter, a partnership was formed with
Russ Bowen and Matt Van De Motter.

The partners made a firm change to Smith Barney in May 2005 which then became Morgan Stanley in 2009. David earned the title and Senior Vice President, Investments in 2014. In 2017, he earned the Family Wealth Director designation which enables him to specialize in handling complex wealth planning needs for ultra-high net worth clients.

He is and has been involved with a number of non-profit organizations in the northeast Ohio area having served as President of The Ohio Wesleyan Alumni Board of Directors (2013 – 2016); President of the Chagrin Falls Booster Board (2016 – 2022) and currently spends time volunteering with True Freedom Ministries.

David and his wife Katy live in Chagrin Falls and have three grown children, Grace, Emma and Reed. He enjoys the great outdoors with specific interest in upland bird hunting, fly-fishing, and skiing.

About Matthew J Van De Motter

After graduating from Lynchburg College in 1990, Matt began his career with Oppenheimer & Co. in New York City. A lifelong “Clevelander” at heart, he moved back home to go to work for Morgan Stanley and shortly thereafter co-founded The Northcoast Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley.

In 1999 Matt earned the title of First Vice President and later was promoted to Senior Vice President. In 2015 Matt achieved the Family Wealth Director designation, held by less than 5% of Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors. He focuses on handling complex wealth planning needs for ultra-high net worth clients. In 2024, Matt was promoted to Managing Director.

Matt is involved with The Cleveland Museum of Natural History and the Western Reserve Land Conservancy as well as a number of other conservancy organizations.

Matt and his wife Renee live in Pepper Pike with their three boys, Jack, Ty and Reece. Matt is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys fly fishing, bird hunting, skiing and golfing, especially with his family.

About Jon E. Lawrence

With more than 34 years of experience in the financial services industry, Jon brings a wealth of knowledge and a broad perspective of the investment world to our clients. While he has enjoyed success in numerous leadership positions over the years, Jon finds the greatest joy in serving clients and helping them articulate and achieve their most important goals.

Jon began his career as a Financial Advisor at E.F. Hutton in 1987 in his hometown of Buffalo, NY. During his tenure with successor firms, he steadily grew into leadership roles beginning in 1992 and culminating in 2009 as Director of Northeast Ohio for all Morgan Stanley operations and member of the Firm’s National Branch Manager Council. Jon then spent 5½ years leading Bank of America/Merrill Lynch in Northeast Ohio, where he oversaw 13 offices, 300 employees and $25 billion in client assets before returning to Morgan Stanley to join the Terrell Lawrence Group and subsequently joined North Coast Wealth Management Group.

Jon earned his degree in Finance from University of Dayton. Jon and his wife, Melanie, have been married since 1990. They spend time in Naples, FLA as well as Chagrin Falls, OH where their two daughters, Danielle and Erika, reside. Outside of work, Jon enjoys pickleball, golf, biking and travel. In addition, Jon is active at Parkside Church and serves philanthropically as a Board Member of True Freedom Ministries.

About Romilly Taylor

Romilly joined Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor in 2018. With more than ten years Financial Services industry experience, his background covers portfolio management, financial planning, insurance, banking and lending. He is based in Pepper Pike, Ohio where he joined the Northcoast Wealth Management Group in 2021.

Romilly began his financial services career at PNC. He held a position with PNC Investments before transitioning to a senior portfolio manager role with PNC Wealth Management. Romilly received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Birmingham, England and his Master’s in Business Administration from the Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State University.

Romilly focuses on advising professionals and high net-worth families in developing and implementing a personalized wealth management strategy. With the full resources of Northcoast Wealth Management Group and Morgan Stanley Wealth Management at his disposal, Romilly advises clients on virtually all aspects of wealth planning including asset allocation, retirement, education, trust, insurance, legacy, cash management and philanthropy.

Romilly hails from London, England and has been proud to call himself a Clevelander since 2009 when he relocated here to marry his now wife Monique. About Jon Blasko

Jon began his career as a Financial Representative at Fidelity Investments in 2007 in Cincinnati, OH. During his tenure with prior firms, he grew into leadership roles in Sales, Compliance and Operations which allowed his experience and knowledge to grow. This culminated in 2016 with a role as the Business Service Manager for all Morgan Stanley operations in the Complex branch. Jon was in that role for 3 years when the opportunity arose to join the Northcoast Wealth Management Group in 2019. Currently, Jon serves as the Director of Business Strategy and focuses in the group’s UHNW clients.

Jon earned his bachelor’s degree from Kent State University.

Jon and his wife, Stacy, have been married since 2008. They live in Burton, OH with their three boys, Ryan, Benny, and Sam. Outside of work, Jon enjoys watching and playing hockey, spending time with his family, anything outside, and home remodeling projects. Jon is also active with the Geauga Maple Leafs Youth Hockey Association as both a coach and treasurer.

About Danielle Beard

Danielle graduated from Kent State University having earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing. While there, she began her career in finance with J.P. Morgan Chase Bank. She went on to get her licenses with Integrity Investments before eventually returning to Chase Bank. She joined Morgan Stanley in 2020 as a registered client service associate, and loves assisting clients with any needs that come up.

Danielle lives in Tallmadge, Ohio with her husband Jordan and 3 pets; Jax, Big Kitty, and Little Kitty. She is an avid ice hockey fan and enjoys trying new recipes and restaurants. She also spends time each week helping to lead her church’s youth group.

About Tammy Blough

Tammy Blough has over 34 years financial service experience, 24 of which have been with Morgan Stanley. She began her career at PaineWebber in 1988. She later joined Solomon Smith Barney in 2000 as an Administrative Assistant and was later promoted to Operations Manager. In 2010, Tammy moved to the Pepper Pike branch as a Complex Service Manager and later joined The Livingston Group, now the Northcoast Wealth Management Group. Tammy is the Group Director and oversees the client service team and is responsible for helping ensure that client needs are understood and met.

Tammy resides in Cuyahoga Falls with her dog Charlie. She is the proud mother of Adam and Emily and a joyous Mimi to four wonderful grandchildren, Brian, Waylon, Braelynn and Ariyhana. She enjoys spending time with her family, crafting and reading.

About Amanda Cairns

Amanda joined the Northcoast team in September of 2024 as a Client Service Associate. Previously she worked for PNC Bank for 21 years as an Assistant Branch Manager, including 19 years in that role at the North Olmsted branch. Amanda is passionate about client service, a true people-person.

Amanda grew up in Girard, Ohio and is a graduate of Kent State University. She and her husband John have been married for 33 years. Amanda and John live on the Westside of Cleveland in North Olmsted, Ohio. They are the proud parents of Ian, Zac, Kylie, Trevor and Shane and are delighted to be first-time grandparents of baby Cameron who was born in November 2024. Amanda loves to socialize and travel. She likes to experience new places and cultures and rarely visits the same place twice.
