About Keith F Martens

Keith Martens is a Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) at Morgan Stanley. He has been in the financial services industry since 1996; all that time with Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firms. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Keith spent seven years in the U.S. Navy as an aviator, and as an ROTC instructor at Marquette University, where he had previously earned his B.S. in Business Administration and Finance.

A senior partner of The Lighthouse Group at Morgan Stanley, Keith’s role focuses on comprehensive solutions for individuals and families, designed to help clients meet their short- and long-term financial goals with an appropriate level of risk. He works closely with his clients to help design and execute customized Advanced Planning Strategies for Wealth Management that cover the spectrum of needs: Lifestyle and Legacy Management; Liquidity and Liability Management; Risk Management; and Investment Management. As a CFP®, Keith is able to design and execute financial plans that help give his clients the freedom to pursue their dreams as well as providing confidence that they are on course to achieve their goals.  He prides himself on his ability to listen to and interpret clients’ ideas about their financial situations, preferences and goals, and he uses the vast resources of Morgan Stanley to help them explore a wide range of possible solutions.

A native of Door County, Wisconsin, Keith and his wife reside in Bayside now, and have three grown children. An avid sports fan, he enjoys cheering on his alma mater, the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks. Both Keith and his wife have pursued training in trauma focused narrative therapy, and this experience has helped him to better listen to people with their diverse needs in a more understanding and empathetic manner.

A First Vice President and Financial Planning Specialist with The Lighthouse Group at Morgan Stanley, Paul develops and executes the procedural and operational aspects of delivering high-quality personalized service to the team’s clients. Starting in the financial services industry in 1988, and at Morgan Stanley (and its predecessor firms) in 2000, he has helped individuals and families reach their goals by leveraging basic truths and a disciplined process.  Before entering financial services, Paul earned his B.S. in Communications from Minnesota State University at Mankato and, for five years, served as a reporter and editor for a variety of small newspapers where he developed his passion for focusing on understanding an individual’s story and translating the story into action.

Clients can expect Paul to build long-term relationships that encourage open communication. He believes that simple is often better and that plans should be no more complex than they need to be. The disciplined approach to helping clients employed by Paul and The Lighthouse Group begins by listening to understand his client’s personal, professional and/or philanthropic objectives and then by helping clients to prioritize their goals.  Paul works together with his clients to define and implement the steps and strategies that can result in helping achieve the client’s lifelong goals.
