About Joseph Reap
A 19-year Morgan Stanley veteran, Joe Reap leads a team that helps affluent families and individuals address the complex challenges of managing significant wealth. Drawing on extensive experience in the fixed income markets, Joe works with many of the team’s clients to create and implement investment strategies designed to help protect their assets and provide the income needed to sustain their lifestyles. Among the many designations he has acquired, Joe is a Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM, Financial Planning Specialist, Senior Investment Management Consultant and Senior Portfolio Manager. He served on the Morgan Stanley President’s Council for 10 and spent three years on the management team. Prior to his financial services career, Joseph was founder of J.R. Industrial Catering serving as President for 15 years.
Joe is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s Regional High School and moved on to William Patterson University to study business and finance. Highly active in his community, he serves as a board member of the American Cancer Society, chairing their golf and gala committees. Joe has also been a Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus and a board member of the Ramsey Education Foundation. Drawing on over 19 years of experience in the financial services industry, William Carnes helps affluent families and individuals develop and implement comprehensive wealth management plans based on their needs, goals and challenges. A partner in the Group, William has earned designations as a Portfolio Manager and Financial Planning Specialist. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he spent five years working as a manager at Staples, Inc. William graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1992.
When not at the office, he enjoys skiing, golf and running. Over the past number of years he has run in Tough Mudders, marathons and half marathons. For the past three years he led the fundraising efforts that sent his daughters cheer team to the UCA National Cheerleading championship in Florida.

About Gerald Ferrante
For nearly 37 years, Gerry has been with Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firms. He began his career in the industry as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch prior to joining the firm in 1985 as a National Training Officer. Throughout his career, he held various positions including Branch Manager, Regional Director and Complex Manager. In 2020 through 2021 he served as Special Advisor in the Northeast Region utilizing his extended experience in the business. As of January 2022, Gerry joined The Liberty Group as a Financial Advisor. He likes to say, “I have come full circle in a career that I have cherished, with a firm and its leadership that I have the utmost respect for with colleagues that I am proud to work with and love.” He further adds, I consider it a privilege to continue to strive to embody Morgan Stanley’s Core Values in serving our clients.”
Gerry has served on the Branch Manager Council, National Recruiting Council, Fixed Income Advisory Board, the firm’s Legal Advisory Board, and as a FINRA arbitrator. He was named one of the top 100 Wall Street Managers by On Wall Street Magazine many times over*. Gerry has also represented the firm in the Wall Street Journal and Registered Rep Magazine, and made appearances on the CBS Nightly News and on national television in Japan.
Named as an Honoree at the 2011 Gala, Gerry has been actively involved in the Northern New Jersey chapter of the American Cancer Society as well as the Northern New Jersey MS Society. He is also a member of the Columbus Citizen’s Foundation where he and his wife also sponsor a scholarship for the private education of a needy high school student. Gerry is also an active supporter of the Marine Corp Council as well as Hope For the Warriors annually during Fleet Week. He and his wife Pam, are also sponsors of K-9’s for Warriors, an organization that finds, trains and unites support dogs for veterans in need. Continuing his philanthropic endeavors and under his guidance, the complex was the recipient of the Presidential Service Award for excellent volunteering efforts during Global Volunteer Month in 2011 and 2013.
Gerry was presented with the prestigious 2016 Corporate Partnership Award by MJHS for his work with Menorah Home and Hospital in his home town Brooklyn, New York. In addition to normal nursing and rehabilitation services, Menorah’s inpatient hospice residence is the first in New York City to care for children as well as adults. This has been of particular interest to Gerry as he is also a supporter of The Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital.
Gerry was named a Maker at the end of 2019. This honor is in recognition of Gerry’s support of Woman in the corporate and private sector. He is most proud of that recognition as he was nominated by the many women he had been privileged to work with. Most recently, Gerry was honored by Statement Arts in 2021 at their annual golf outing for the philanthropic work promoting music and the arts within NYC’s public schools for under privileged students.
Gerry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in History, Education and Economics from SUNY Oneonta and a Master of Arts in Public Affairs from the W. Averell Harriman School for Management and Public Policy, SUNY Stony Brook. Most recently he was named Alumni of Distinction by SUNY Oneonta. He also endows a scholarship there so that a student in need may expand their education by studying overseas.
Gerry is an avid golfer, enthusiastic supporter of all New York sports teams. He and his wife love to travel to all parts of the world. Gerry and his wife Pam live in Sea Girt, New Jersey and have two grown daughters, Debra and Danielle. Bill started in the financial services industry in 1991 and spent 15 years as an institutional equities trader. In 2007 he transitioned to Wealth Management as both a Financial Advisor and Branch Manager. Bill is the acting Branch Manager of the Sea Girt, NJ office. He takes tremendous pride in his position and works closely with advisors to assist them navigate the consistently changing landscape of our profession. In addition to being a Branch Manager, Bill is a Charted Retirement Planning Counselor ® and Financial Planning Specialist. Bill has a deep knowledge of the firms Modern Wealth Management techniques.

Denice Layne has spent a over decade working in client-facing positions in the financial services industry. Supporting the team’s advisors, Denice assists clients with financial transactions, helps to establish new accounts and supports clients with special service requests. She was elected to participate in the Morgan Stanley Leadership Readiness Program, which prepares employees for leadership roles within the firm.
Prior to joining The Liberty Group in 2014, Denice worked as a senior vault teller at JP Morgan Chase Bank, and as a financial representative at the Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company. About Stephanie DeCrosta
Stephanie DeCrosta joined Morgan Stanley in 2015 as a Client Service Associate. She has since held several client-facing positions within the firm. Stephanie assists the team on a part-time basis with client engagement, digital support, trade execution and ensures we are up to date on the firms newest tools and initiatives .
Stephanie lives in Bloomfield, NJ with her husband, Matthew and their two sons. She is a certified yoga instructor who is passionate about health and wellness. As a family they enjoy running around outside, spending time with loved ones and hanging out at the Jersey Shore.

About Danielle Magrini
Danielle has spent over 20 years in the financial services industry. She currently works directly with the Branch Manager in our Sea Girt, NJ office where she provides a high level of administrative support to the Branch as well as works directly with Financial Advisors. She is committed to providing clients with the outstanding service model that the team prides itself on delivering. Danielle helps establish accounts and facilitate any special client request.
Danielle worked with AG Edwards and Wachovia Securities prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2007. She has a degree in Communications from NYU and recently completed her Series 7 and Series 66.
A long-time resident of the Jersey Shore, Danielle spends most of her spare time reading on the beach.

About Debra Jennings
Debra Jennings draws on over 20 years of experience in financial services to deliver an outstanding service experience to the Group’s clients. She serves as the administrator and team coordinator, contributing to the smooth functioning of the office and making sure that the client requests are handled promptly and accurately.
Debra began her career in financial services with Deutsche Asset Management in 1999 as a Data Management Associate. She worked through various operations roles there including investment support and client support.
Outside of work, Debra is an active committee member for Staten Island Autism Warriors. Through her committee involvement, Debra has helped plan judgment-free family events for the Autism Community of Staten Island, volunteered her time at the family events and has volunteered her time fundraising to help cover the costs of the events.
