About Mark Grace

Mark Grace has emersed himself in the evolving financial services industry for over 35 years. After graduating from Santa Clara University, he moved to London where he worked for Prudential Bache covering institutional European clients. His time abroad gave Mark exposure to foreign markets, international investment and global economies.

Mark was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and moved to the Napa Valley with his family during high school. The food and wine industry caught Mark’s interest and provided numerous summer jobs, where he learned the importance of hospitality and personal service. He spent two years working for Robert Mondavi as a winery representative on the East Coast. Working closely with this iconic wine family had a great impact on Mark, highlighting advances in viticulture and enology and the importance of client education.

Mark joined Smith Barney in 1990 where he pursued his career for 17 years, before moving to Morgan Stanley. His experience includes a focus on high net worth (HNW) clients, including professionals in the entertainment & sports industries. Extensive goals-based planning, wealth transfer, deferred accounts, tax efficiencies, endowments and foundations and knowledge as a private banking loan specialist are part of Mark’s skill set. Educating and empowering clients is essential to Mark, therefore embracing financial planning tools and understanding long term wealth management is paramount. His team, The Legacy Impact Group, focuses on taking emotion out of the investment process and creating a disciplined solutions-based plan with family office capabilities, all to achieve long-term stability and growth.

Mark is an avid outdoorsman and loves hiking and mountain biking on Mt. Tamalpais near his home in Mill Valley, California. His hobbies include practicing Yoga, the culinary arts and playing ukulele. Mark and his husband, Steve, enjoy traveling, entertaining and gardening at their home on Vashon Island in Washington State.

Andy has worked in the financial industry for over 16 years. His career started at Goldman Sachs in San Francisco on the Credit Sales and Trading desk, covering large Institutional clients across Asset Managers, Insurance Companies, Pensions, Foundations, Endowments, and Hedge Funds.

During his years in finance, Andy has excelled his career specializing in various fixed income products. In addition to Goldman Sachs, he has worked at Morgan Stanley, BlackRock, and CMG Financial. He takes great pride in building long standing client relationships and enjoys getting to know his clients both professionally and personally. His past experiences of markets, building trust and confidence with clients, and overall drive to do the right thing, is what led him to the career of Wealth Management. The Legacy Impact Group at Morgan Stanley has over 55 years of extensive financial experience. The team takes into account all aspects of their clients financial picture, working like a family office, often collaborating with their clients CPA and trust and estate attorney.

Andy graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder, with an emphasis in Quantitative Finance. He has lived in the Bay Area since 2008, but never forgets his roots where he grew up in Sioux City, Iowa. Spending time with his family and friends is something he values most. Andy and his husband Brad love spending time with their two daughters. They enjoy outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, taking their golden doodle Ollie to the beach and are always up for traveling.
