About Rick Barton

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2010, Rick began his advisory career with Raymond James in 2006. Leveraging his experience with executives in the high technology industry, he has been committed to providing timely and personalized services to his clients, recognizing their often constrained time demands. 

As the CFP® in the practice, Rick leads the team on implementing the group’s “360 degree process” focusing on comprehensive financial planning.  Using his investment management experience he helps clients transform their objectives into an actionable financial plan.  As his clients’ lives unfold over time, he refines their financial plans to adapt to changing financial objectives and situations.  He carefully ensures every aspect of his clients’ financial lives is accounted for in their customized financial plan.

Originally a native Californian, Rick completed his undergraduate work at the University of California, San Diego.  After relocating to North Texas, he earned his MBA at Southern Methodist University in 1984 and is a graduate of the Executive Leadership program at the Harvard Business School.

He has called North Texas home for over 35 years.  He and his wife, Patti, together they have raised three children, Alex, Stuart, and Allison.  Alex and Stuart are recent graduates from Texas A&M (Gig’em!) and Allison is a graduate of Texas Tech (Gun’s up!)

About Allison Lopes

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Allison began her career with Grant Thornton in 2012. Having served a wide variety of clients as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), she developed broad finance and business knowledge. Her experiences include SEC and financial reporting, financial analysis, auditing and technical accounting. Allison earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Masters of Accountancy from Texas Tech University.

Allison brings a fresh and unique perspective to our clients as a younger member of the practice. She understands the financial challenges of younger generations and relates to their goals and needs. Allison is skilled in building a bridge between the underserved young professional market and the financial advising world. In addition, she utilizes her financial background to communicate investing language and financial planning insight in a simple, understandable format.

Allison resides in Wylie, Texas along with her husband, Trevor, and dog, Maple. Away from business, she enjoys watching sports, live music and travelling with her husband as well as spending time with family and friends.

About Harpreet Sidhu

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2019, Harpreet has previous wealth management experience of 6 years with Merrill Lynch and Citi Bank as well as 4 years of international banking experience in India. Harpreet earned his Bachelor's in Computer Science and Master's in Business Administration.

Harpreet brings various experiences to our team including: a unique perspective for business owners and business executives in navigating mergers and acquisitions and liquidation events, a holistic balance sheet approach in working with clients with a focus on lending and in-depth knowledge of fixed income investment options.

A native to India, Harpreet currently lives in Trophy Club, Texas. Harpreet is fluent in English, Punjabi and Hindi and conversational in Gujarati. Harpreet enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with his son.

About Jasmine Holiday

As a product of being raised in a traditional military family Jasmine was born in Wurzburg, Germany and has lived all over the world. She has since decided to take up roots and settle down in McKinney, Texas along with her husband Michael, 8 year old daughter Jade and 18 year old step-son Chanse.

She is a 20 year veteran in the financial services industry and graduated valedictorian in Finance from Prairie View A&M University. There she was on the University’s Cheerleading squad and became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Prior to the pandemic she enjoyed volunteering with her sorority on community outreach programs and traveling abroad. Now, she has focused more of her attention towards teaching her daughter Martial Arts. Jasmine has a 5th Degree Master Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and has earned several titles but values her title as a 3 time U.S. Junior Olympic Champion. As a result of her final title competition, Jasmine received a bid to be on the U.S. Tae Kwon Do Olympic team.

We are extremely happy to have Jasmine as part of our Legacy Circle Group family. She carries a wonderfully positive and upbeat attitude and is committed to providing a great experience.

About Jennifer Elms

Jennifer joins us from Ameriprise and has 27 years of industry experience including: wealth management, banking and mortgage processing. Jennifer earned her undergraduate in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.

Jennifer's vast knowledge of the financial industry will be a great asset to our team and will help provide outstanding service to our clients and their families.

Outside the office, Jennifer enjoys spending her time relaxing at home, gardening and going dancing. Jennifer is also the proud mother of her daughter who is in the Marine Corps and currently resides in San Diego.
