About David Lee Allen

David has been helping clients determine their investment objectives, risk tolerances and wealth accumulation strategies since 1993.  He has an extensive knowledge in professional money management and completed the Certified Investment Management Analyst Program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.  The majority of his clientele is comprised of people who have sold their businesses, so he is sensitive to the needs this niche requires.  David earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Kansas and his Masters in Business Administration at Washburn University.  David is married with two children and enjoys playing golf when the opportunity presents itself.

About R. Marshall Douthat

Marshall Douthat, a licensed Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley, has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Having completed certain educational, ethical and experience requirements, Marshall earned the Certified Financial Planner™ certification. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2013, Marshall spent eight years as a Senior Vice President and Board Member of a local Kansas City bank.

Marshall’s years of experience in the banking industry and as a Financial Advisor have taught him that every client is unique and has different expectations and goals for how his or her money is invested and preserved. Marshall uses this experience to offer financial planning, asset allocation strategies, investment evaluation, risk management, and retirement accumulation/distribution strategies to his Morgan Stanley clients.

Marshall holds a B.S. in Accounting from University of Missouri Kansas City as well as various security and insurance licenses. Born and raised in the Kansas City area, Marshall now lives with his wife and two sons in Leawood, KS.

Marshall has an active interest in the community. He has been a board member and Treasurer of Medical Missions Foundation and has been active in various other local nonprofit organizations. In 2006, Marshall was the Leukemia & Lymphoma Man of the Year.

About Austin W Gates

As a Financial Advisor and Vice President of Morgan Stanley, Austin works closely with our clients to understand their unique financial situation and create a customized plan to help them attain their financial objectives. He leverages the resources of Morgan Stanley and the 72+ years of team experience to help our clients achieve financial freedom and independence.

Prior to joining the firm, Austin worked for Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. As an Employee Benefits Consultant, he managed insurance brokerage relationships and constructed benefit plans for employers. Austin attended the University of Arizona and graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration.

Austin currently lives in Kansas City with his wife and two children.
