The Leasca Group was founded in 1965 by Peter Leasca, and we have been serving clients from the same office in Worcester, Massachusetts, for more than 50 years. As a father-son team, we bring a balanced combination of experience, insight and perspective that enables us to connect with every generation of your family. Experience

Our professional and personal roots in Central Massachusetts run deep, and our practice has stood the test of time. George Leasca’s father, Peter, founded the Leasca Group in 1965, building a leading wealth management practice from the ground up through honesty, hard work and sound judgment. After more than 40 years of building wealth for clients, Peter was succeeded by George, who now works with Peter’s grandson, Pierce. As second and third generation Financial Advisors, George and Pierce have continued to build and strengthen the Leasca Group, while paving the way into the future.




Our practice still follows the same guiding principles of honesty and hard work, and we are proudly continuing a more than 50-year tradition of connecting clients to their wealth. We have evolved into a comprehensive wealth management practice with an integrated approach that prepares you for the major milestones of your life—buying a home, starting a family, sending a child to college, preparing for retirement and planning your legacy.

Meet The Leasca Group

About George P Leasca

George Leasca is an experienced financial advisor who has been managing investments and serving clients for close to 34 years. One of his most treasured experiences was working with his father, Peter Leasca, to build the multi-generational wealth management practice that still stands as a beacon in Central Massachusetts  today.  The business was built on honesty, hard work, trust, and sound judgment.  George has earned the trust of his clients by putting their interests first every day over the course of his career.

George’s business career began in 1978 as an accounting manager for a high tech company in the greater Boston area.  He gained valuable experience in financial management, which led him to join their family wealth management practice in 1983.  Together, with George’s father, Peter, they built a practice assisting many people, non-profit organizations, municipalities and institutions in achieving their financial goals.  Peter retired in 2006, while George’s son, Pierce has been with the firm since 2013 as a Financial Planning Specialist.
 
George is an advocate for the Worcester Community, and has contributed in a variety of leadership roles.  He has served as evening host on TV Channel 3 News for Central Mass for a decade through the 90’s (1991-2001). He also enjoyed time spent giving back to his alma mater, Worcester State University by serving on the Foundation  Board of Trustees  from 2003 to 2010.  George served as Treasurer of Preservation Worcester (1999-2000). He is a dedicated 25 year member of his Rotary Chapter, acting as President from 1995 to 1996.  George was the Chairman of the National Kidney Foundation of Central Massachusetts from 2000-02, and as a 28 year member, served on the Board for the Estate Planning Council of Worcester  County (2007-08).

George resides in West Brookfield, MA with his wife Martha.

About Pierce G. Leasca

Pierce joined the group over 10 years ago after working in a wealth advisory role at Morgan Stanley that focused on crafting financial plans for clients throughout the region. He gained insight and experience, working with over 50 advisors and their clients. Pierce brings his experience in financial planning with him to the team.

Growing up at a young age, Pierce took an interest in what his father and grandfather did for work. He asked questions about things like the ticker tape at the bottom of the screen on CNBC and what caused market prices to change. He took these questions with him through his education, coming to understand the answers over time. His enthusiasm led him to develop important mentor relationships that accelerated his learning curve. Pierce took to reading the Wall Street Journal everyday through his college days at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and constantly sought advice and book recommendations from his mentors. This background and knowledge base serve him well as an advisor today.

Pierce attended the local Saint John’s High School in Shrewsbury, MA where he captained the crew team. He went on to accomplish a lot in college, winning a gold medal out of hundreds of participants for his group’s business policy presentation, presenting to the board of a publicly traded company on multiple occasions, graduating the Dale Carnegie Course and receiving the award for best speaker, and being inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma “best in business” fraternity. He was also involved in a project where he created a grading system for stocks, hiring a group of 25 student researchers, and analyzing over 1500 companies. The project received a Congressional Honor and press coverage from multiple sources. Pierce has also done work in marketing strategy and evaluating private investment opportunities as a consultant.

Pierce is a passionate learner- he enjoys reading books of all types and taking courses when he finds time. He loves exercising, having won medals in a Strongman Competition and as a rower. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
