Meet The Kenny Team

About Bryce Kenny

Bryce is the founder and Managing Director of the Kenny team, a group of seven investment professionals that reside within Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management division. Bryce is based in Tampa, Florida however, he and his team work with clients throughout the United States. The Kenny team’s clients are typically high net worth individuals and families that fall into four categories: family offices, entrepreneurs/business owners, individuals that have a concentrated position in a public company, and Finance professionals. The team advises clients on matters such as risk mitigation, portfolio management strategies, cash flow analysis, business succession planning, and trust and estate planning . Bryce draws on over two decades of experience with respect to management of equities, fixed income, alternatives, and lending. He coordinates with client’s attorneys and accountants to ensure they are on track to meet their personal and financial goals. Bryce prides himself on building strong personal relationships with his clients and delivers a high touch service model. He tailors customized solutions for each and every client and takes a disciplined approach to investing while accessing the tools and resources that are available to him in the Morgan Stanley Private Wealth platform.

Originally from Grosse Pointe, Michigan Bryce graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He has worked in Finance his entire career and began working at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management in March, 2012.

Over the years, Bryce has received numerous industry awards starting in February, 2012 when he was named one of the Top 1,000 Financial Advisors in the country by Barron’s magazine. In September, 2013 he was named one of the Top 40 Wirehouse Advisors Under 40 years of age by REP magazine.

Bryce is active in the community and believes in giving back to those less fortunate. He served on the Board of Metropolitan Ministries for over a decade and currently sits on the Board of Positive Coaching Alliance. He volunteers his time mentoring several of the firm’s Financial Advisors and enjoys watching and coaching his kid’s sports (currently flag football and baseball).

About Brett Benson

Brett R. Benson is a Private Wealth Advisor with Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management division.

Brett graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning in 2007. While attending Purdue he also owned and operated a pet store in the suburbs of Chicago. In addition, he worked as a runner at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) during the summertime. Upon graduation, he began working for Credit Suisse as a Sales Assistant. Brett moved to Florida in 2012 to assist with the opening of the Credit Suisse Tampa office. Soon after, he moved to Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management.

Drawing on over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry, Brett works with affluent families and individuals to create highly customized wealth management solutions based on their needs, goals and challenges.

Brett and his wife, Susie, have three young daughters. Blair, Rowan and Vivian take up much of his time outside of work. Brett’s family also has two dogs that keep him busy. He is an avid fisherman; and loves to spend his free time on the water. Brett believes in giving back to the community and volunteers at the Florida Aquarium.

About Rob Cecil

Rob is a Private Wealth Advisor with Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management division based in the firm’s downtown Tampa, Florida office. Rob’s focus is helping business owners/founders, corporate executives, and family offices navigate their financial journeys. He strives to build strong personal relationships with his clients and optimizes solutions for every family based on their unique circumstances while utilizing the vast resources that Morgan Stanley Private Wealth has to offer.

Rob is a graduate of Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa. He then went on to study at Northwestern University where he graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. While at Northwestern, Rob was a member of the Men’s Varsity Swim Team where he competed at Big Ten Championships all four years and broke the school record in the 4 by 200 Freestyle Relay. During the summers, he trained for swimming and volunteered at Meals on Wheels of Tampa Bay.

In 2019, Rob interned for Morgan Stanley PWM with the Kenny Team. The following year, he interned at Proforma (a domestic leader in the printing, promotional products, and packaging industries) in Tampa with the company’s Information Technology department. Following the conclusion of his collegiate swimming career, Rob qualified for and competed at the 2020 (2021) US Olympic Team Trials in the 100 Freestyle.

Rob is an active member of the Tampa Bay community and is passionate about helping others. He dedicated over 25 hours during the 2022/2023 school year to tutoring high school math and science at Starting Right, Now. He has presented on multiple occasions to the University of Tampa Personal Finance Club on the topic of a career in wealth management. He serves on the Berkeley Open Committee, which raises money for student scholarships through an annual golf tournament. He is also an active member of The Stovall House and is a Club Leader for the Northwestern Alumni Club of Tampa Bay. Rob enjoys spending free time with his family, friends, and dog. His favorite hobbies include golfing, skiing, fishing, and surfing.

About Audrey Schreier

Audrey Schreier is the Director of Business Strategy for the Kenny Team at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth. With over a decade of experience, she has spent her career helping clients navigate the complexity of managing their wealth. Audrey focuses on enhancing both new and existing client relationship through active communication and problem resolution: this includes identifying new client needs and priorities and reviewing current investment goals. Audrey works closely with all of the financial advisors on her team to provide leadership and coordination on strategic business planning, team goals, and practice management. She helps identify business opportunities for the team by utilizing the Firm’s vast products and initiatives.

Audrey is a long time resident of Tampa, having graduated from Academy of the Holy Name and then from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Since college, Audrey has held numerous positions with Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. Working in various capacities has given Audrey the ability to view the business from an operational, service, and analytical perspective. She started as a Client Service associate and was quickly promoted to Consulting Group Analyst. In 2020, Audrey was promoted to Director of Business Strategy for The Kenny Team. She has extensive experience with ultra-high net worth clients, specifically: family offices, entrepreneurs/business owners, finance industry professionals (including private equity founders) and individuals that have a concentrated position in a public company.

Audrey continues to fulfill the analyst duties for her team, assisting them with client reporting, investment research, risk mitigation, and manager selection. She is responsible for the preparation of the team’s analytical reports, including: custom performance reports, options analysis, and asset allocations. She also handles the third-party manager selection, including due diligence meetings with portfolio managers. As the main trader for her team, Audrey also has experience trading equities, fixed income, currency, and complex options.

Audrey is an active member of the Tampa Bay community and is passionate about helping others. She is an active member in the University of South Florida’s Women in Leadership and Philanthropy (WLP). WLP helps raise funds for USF scholarships and programs. She is always looking for her next opportunity to give back to her community. Audrey lives in Tampa with her two dogs and enjoys spending her free time outdoors in the beautiful weather Florida has to offer.

About Megan Miller

Megan Miller is an experienced Wealth Management Associate with almost a decade of experience in the financial services industry.

Originally from Pennsylvania, she has called the Tampa Bay area home for more than 15 years.

Megan is genuinely dedicated to maintaining and cultivating client relationships. Through a combination of marketing methods and product knowledge she facilitates the client onboarding processes, addresses the specific needs of our clients, and oversees day-to-day operations within her team.

Megan holds Series 7 and 66 registrations with FINRA, reflecting her commitment to professional excellence and regulatory compliance.

About Katie Curtis

In her prior role with Raymond James Wealth Solutions, Katie served as a Financial Planner II for three years, where she collaborated with advisors to grow their businesses and deliver a value add to clients and prospects. Her main responsibilities were customizing wealth solutions from across the firm for their HNW clients and prospects; travelling across the country as a client speaker on topics such as Social Security, Medicare and Longevity & Long-Term Care Planning; and as a lead trainer for their financial planning software.

Katie started her career at Armwood High School in Seffner, Florida. She spent five years as the head of US History and Hillsborough Community College Magnet Professor.

An Academy of the Holy Names graduate, Katie returned home to the Midwest for school. She earned her B.A. in History, Philosophy and Languages from Saint Mary’s College and continued to Marquette University for her M.A. in Medieval History and Languages. Away from the office, Katie stays active with family and friends, loves time on the water and travelling.
