Welcome

Our Story

My team and I focus all of our attention on a small number of highly affluent families and individuals. Our clients are highly accomplished people with busy lives, numerous commitments and complex wealth management challenges. They rely on us to help preserve what they have earned, pursue their goals and simplify their financial lives. We are the Advisors who are on call to answer questions, help find solutions and offer sound advice from an experienced perspective.

We seek to build long-term relationships based on mutual trust and respect. If you choose to work with us, you’ll find that we take the time to get to know you and your family. I’ll speak to your attorney and CPA, and review your statements and documents, trying to identify vulnerabilities as well as opportunities. We will learn where you stand and where you want to go, and present you with a plan to help you get there. We can then combine the vast resources of our firm with our own talents and experience to put those plans into action.

I look forward to meeting you, learning more about your aspirations, and discussing how we can help reach them. To begin that conversation, please contact us (405) 879-7148 or james.l.johnson@morganstanley.com.

Source: Barron's.com (May 2024) 2024 Barron's Top 250 Private Wealth Management Teams awarded in 2024. The teams are ranked on a variety of factors, including their size and shape, their regulatory records and credentials of their members, and the resources they have at their disposal to serve their client bases. The rankings are meant as a starting point for clients looking for an advisor—a first-pass vetting that can help investors narrow a search. Every advisor will have his or her own approach to investing, financial planning, and other services. Clients are encouraged to approach a search for an advisor the way they would a search for a doctor—interviewing multiple professionals and getting opinions from multiple third parties. There are few events more exciting than when our client decides to align their life with the person they love. Post-Career

Today's 65-year-olds have a high likelihood of living until their mid-80s, and it's not uncommon anymore to reach substantially beyond that. That means you need to plan for a retirement that will span two decades and potentially much more. Longer retirements are great outcomes, but also place a great deal of stress on a household's finances. As your Financial Advisor, we make sure to put a plan in place so that you are able to take on any curveball retirement may throw at you.

    Death

Dealing with death is never easy. Aside from coping with the loss of a loved one, legal matters also require immediate attention, including administration of the estate. Though it may be hard for individuals to talk about estate planning because of the heartache, addressing it promptly is crucial to saving both time and money, and to minimizing family conflict or confusion. Passing away without a will, known as intestacy, means the state determines how the deceased's assets will be distributed, and this may not be consistent with the family's wishes. Proceedings can also be painful and costly for the family.

We believe that is better to plan ahead to ensure that your wishes and your will are followed. A proactive approach to estate planning as a family is better than a reactive one.
