In the fall of 2023, Marc Jacobson and his team at Morgan Stanley presented a client event with his close friends, Greg Harden and Desmond Howard.

Greg was a Performance Coach at the University of Michigan for decades, positively impacting the lives of many athletes, including Tom Brady, Michael Phelps and Desmond Howard. He published a New York Times Best-Selling-Book detailing his lessons, titled "Staying Sane in an Insane World: How to Control the Controllables and Thrive". These life lessons apply to anyone, not just athletes.

Desmond Howard played football at the University of Michigan and went on to the win the 1991 Heisman Trophy as a Wide Receiver. He also played professionally in the NFL for many years and won the Super Bowl XXXI Most Valuable Player award. Desmond currently serves as a College Football Analyst for ESPN. Desmond's achievements would not have been possible without the lessons that Greg taught him.

During this client event, Marc moderated a discussion with Greg and Desmond centered around their lives, Greg's impact on Desmond and the lessons that Greg's book teaches. About Marc Jacobson

With more than 25 years of financial services experience, Marc came to Morgan Stanley in 2012. Committed to his clients, he believes that trust and confidence are the foundation for any successful relationship. Through hard work and dedication, he endeavors to exceed client expectations. He provides well-balanced solutions for each client based on their respective goals, tolerance and needs. A graduate of the University of Michigan, his experience with Bo Schembechler helped shape his commitment to integrity, ethics, and values.

As an active philanthropist, Marc has a history of mentoring children. He served as Chairman of the Board for All Children’s Hospital Foundation and Boys and Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay Foundation and on the board of The Vinny LeCavalier Foundation focusing on pediatric cancer. Marc currently serves on the Advisory Council of the World Federation of Youth Clubs, the Executive Board of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay, and the Board of The Uniform Funding Foundation. In addition, Marc founded a Social Justice Coalition with global reach aimed at generational change.

About Bryce Kenny

Bryce is one of the Managing Directors for The Jacobson Kenny Team. He is based in Tampa, Florida however, he and the team work with clients throughout the United States. Bryce draws on over two decades of experience with respect to management of equities, fixed income, alternatives, and lending. He also coordinates with client’s attorneys and accountants to ensure they are on track to meet their personal and financial goals. Bryce prides himself on building strong personal relationships with his clients and delivers a high touch service model. He tailors customized solutions for each and every client and takes a disciplined approach to investing while accessing the tools and resources that are available to him in the Morgan Stanley Private Wealth platform.

Originally from Grosse Pointe, Michigan Bryce graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He has worked in Finance his entire career and began working at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management in March, 2012.

Over the years, Bryce has received numerous industry awards starting in February, 2012 when he was named one of the Top 1,000 Financial Advisors in the country by Barron’s magazine. In September, 2013 he was named one of the Top 40 Wirehouse Advisors Under 40 years of age by REP magazine.

Bryce is active in the community and believes in giving back to those less fortunate. He served on the Board of Metropolitan Ministries for over a decade and currently sits on the Board of Positive Coaching Alliance. He volunteers his time mentoring several of the firm’s Financial Advisors and enjoys watching and coaching his kid’s sports (currently flag football and baseball).

Brett graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning in 2007. While attending Purdue he also owned and operated a pet store in the suburbs of Chicago. In addition, he worked as a runner at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) during the summertime. Upon graduation, he began working for Credit Suisse as a Sales Assistant. Brett moved to Florida in 2012 to assist with the opening of the Credit Suisse Tampa office. Soon after, he moved to Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management.

About Audrey Schreier

Audrey Schreier is the Director of Business Strategy for The Jacobson Kenny Team at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth. With over a decade of experience, she has spent her career helping clients navigate the complexity of managing their wealth. Audrey focuses on enhancing both new and existing client relationship through active communication and problem resolution: this includes identifying new client needs and priorities and reviewing current investment goals. Audrey works closely with all of the financial advisors on her team to provide leadership and coordination on strategic business planning, team goals, and practice management. She helps identify business opportunities for the team by utilizing the Firm’s vast products and initiatives.

Audrey is a long time resident of Tampa, having graduated from Academy of the Holy Name and then from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Since college, Audrey has held numerous positions with Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. Working in various capacities has given Audrey the ability to view the business from an operational, service, and analytical perspective. She started as a Client Service associate and was quickly promoted to Consulting Group Analyst. In 2020, Audrey was promoted to Director of Business Strategy for The Kenny Team. She has extensive experience with ultra-high net worth clients, specifically: family offices, entrepreneurs/business owners, finance industry professionals (including private equity founders) and individuals that have a concentrated position in a public company.

Audrey continues to fulfill the analyst duties for her team, assisting them with client reporting, investment research, risk mitigation, and manager selection. She is responsible for the preparation of the team’s analytical reports, including: custom performance reports, options analysis, and asset allocations. She also handles the third-party manager selection, including due diligence meetings with portfolio managers. As the main trader for her team, Audrey also has experience trading equities, fixed income, currency, and complex options.

Audrey is an active member of the Tampa Bay community and is passionate about helping others. She is an active member in the University of South Florida’s Women in Leadership and Philanthropy (WLP). WLP helps raise funds for USF scholarships and programs. She is always looking for her next opportunity to give back to her community. Audrey lives in Tampa with her two dogs and enjoys spending her free time outdoors in the beautiful weather Florida has to offer.

About Beth Mills

Beth and Marc have worked together since 1999. She has been in the financial services industry for 30 plus years. With responsibility for day-to-day operations as well, she has a strong dedication and commitment to each of our clients. In her free time, Beth volunteers with the American Legion Auxiliary and USO. Beth also enjoys spending time with her daughter, Katie, son-in-law, Chris, granddaughter, Ellie, and the rest of her family that lives locally in the area.

About Debbie Gordon

Debbie Gordon has a wealth of experience in the financial service industry, having begun her career over 25 years ago. Debbie has a Series 7 and 65 licenses, and has served in a variety of past capacities including: operations, branch administration, and client service functions.

Debbie joined the Jacobson Wealth Management Group in August of 2012 as a Sr. Registered Associate where she focuses on high level administrative and customer service.

Debbie lives in Parrish, Florida with her husband Blake. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her friends and family, including her son Jeffrey and daughter-in-law Kelsie.

About Megan Miller

Megan Miller is an experienced Wealth Management Associate with almost a decade of experience in the financial services industry.

Originally from Pennsylvania, she has called the Tampa Bay area home for more than 15 years.

Megan is genuinely dedicated to maintaining and cultivating client relationships. Through a combination of marketing methods and product knowledge she facilitates the client onboarding processes, addresses the specific needs of our clients, and oversees day-to-day operations within her team.

Megan holds Series 7 and 66 registrations with FINRA, reflecting her commitment to professional excellence and regulatory compliance.

About Katie Curtis

In her prior role with Raymond James Wealth Solutions, Katie served as a Financial Planner II for three years, where she collaborated with advisors to grow their businesses and deliver a value add to clients and prospects. Her main responsibilities were customizing wealth solutions from across the firm for their HNW clients and prospects; travelling across the country as a client speaker on topics such as Social Security, Medicare and Longevity & Long-Term Care Planning; and as a lead trainer for their financial planning software.

Katie started her career at Armwood High School in Seffner, Florida. She spent five years as the head of US History and Hillsborough Community College Magnet Professor.

An Academy of the Holy Names graduate, Katie returned home to the Midwest for school. She earned her B.A. in History, Philosophy and Languages from Saint Mary’s College and continued to Marquette University for her M.A. in Medieval History and Languages. Away from the office, Katie stays active with family and friends, loves time on the water and travelling.
