About James N. Holzapfel
Jim earned a degree from the University of Maryland School of Business and is a graduate of the three-year Securities Industry Institute® (SII) at the Wharton School of Business. In 1971 Jim joined Kidder, Peabody & Co., a predecessor firm to Wells Fargo Advisors, and in 2020 Jim and his team joined Morgan Stanley.
Jim has been a long-time supporter of the community. Board affiliations include leadership in area charitable foundations, committee designations, and historical enterprises. Jim currently serves as President of the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts and is part-owner of the Hagerstown’s professional baseball team, the Flying Boxcars.
Jim and his wife live in Hagerstown and have four children and six grandchildren. Jim enjoys playing golf and tennis.
