About Me

Jon has provided investment advice for over 50 years. In the syndicate area, Jon was the lead financial advisor at Smith Barney for both the Patterson Dental and Greentree Financial initial public offerings. He graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Business Administration, and he played on the University golf team. On the business side, Jon is a member of the Chartered Market Technicians association where he attends monthly meetings. He was assistant manager of the Harris Upham office in Minneapolis, Minnesota from 1972 - 1976. He now focuses on Portfolio Management. Outside of the office, Jon enjoys spending time with his wife Sharon and his three grandchildren, Gus, Isabel, and Jon.

About Me

Peter has been in the investment services business for almost 20 years. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in psychology and resides in Edina with son Gus. As a portfolio manager, Peter focuses on asset management and has expertise in managing concentrated positions through the use of hedging strategies. When not in the office, Peter enjoys playing golf and coaching his son’s baseball and hockey teams. Peter enjoys giving back to the community he grew up in and is also a member of the Edina Rotary Club. Peter is the recipient of the Five Star Wealth Manager Award for the years 2013 to 2018.

About Me

Karen has over 30 years of industry experience working with both institutional and high net worth families on both the buy and sell side, including on Wall Street. Born and raised in Hibbing, Minnesota, Karen received her BA in Economics and German from the University of St. Thomas, her MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in Finance and Accounting, and has completed the challenging and highly respected Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations. In addition, she has studied economics and done research on Eurocurrency markets at the University of Zürich in Switzerland.

Karen welcomes the opportunity to share her knowledge and love of the financial markets with clients and help them achieve financial peace of mind through the use of a detailed financial plan. Karen takes pride in explaining investments in a straight forward, easy to understand manner using the resources, innovative solutions and products of the world class firm Morgan Stanley. Karen brings a professional winning attitude and strong analytical skills combined with integrity, trust, and confidentiality to work for you.

When not at work, Karen enjoys spending time at her cabin in northern Minnesota, staying fit, playing the piano and reading in other languages. She is fluent in both German and Italian. Karen has two sons: an active junior in high school and a neurosurgeon in residency.

About Me

Amy joined our Morgan Stanley team in November 2018 as a Client Service Associate. Prior to that she was a Family Law and Estate Planning Attorney, having graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. Before graduating from William Mitchell, Amy attended college at Concordia University St. Paul, where she received her B.A. in Sociology and English.

Amy grew up in Crystal, Minnesota and in her spare time she enjoys reading, traveling, social activities, and spending time with her family and friends. Amy currently resides in Maple Grove with her husband Kyle, and their daughter, Brynn.
