        Meet The Higbee Meier de Vries Group

        About Me

        Jack is a seasoned professional with more than 35 years of experience as a Financial Advisor. He focuses on providing personalized advice and solutions to financially successful individuals, families, businesses and non-profit organizations. Jack’s extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, coupled with his communication and teaching skills, allow him to deliver a comprehensive wealth management solution designed to help his clients to achieve their financial goals.  

        Jack was raised in New York’s Hudson Valley. In 1981 he received a BA in Economics from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA and returned to the Hudson Valley to begin his career as a Financial Advisor. He became a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) in 1987 demonstrating his commitment to financial planning early in his career. During his time at Merrill Lynch, Jack was named to their Chairman’s Club, a distinction reserved for successful financial advisors. In April of 2009, Jack and his team moved their practice to Morgan Stanley where he is the lead advisor of The Higbee Meier Digilio Group. He has continued the same level of success achieving the title of Senior Vice President, the designation of Family Wealth Advisor and has been a member of the Morgan Stanley Century Club since 2009.

        Jack lives in Hudson, NY with his wife, Mary Ellen.  She was his partner at Morgan Stanley until she retired in 2017.   They have two children and six grandchildren.  His son Jonathan is a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley and has been a member of the team for the past 14 years.

        During the winter months, Jack and Mary Ellen enjoy traveling to the warmer climates of the Caribbean and the Bahamas. During the warmer seasons, they spend much of their time developing their 11 acre estate by gardening and landscaping, as well as exploring all that the Hudson Valley has to offer.

        About Me

        Jonathan is a Financial Advisor with over 13 years of investment experience. An avid student of the financial markets, he takes pleasure in educating and guiding clients through the financial planning and portfolio management process. One of Jonathan’s critical roles with The Higbee Meier Digilio Group is portfolio development. Utilizing the full range of resources provided through the Morgan Stanley system, he is responsible for managing the team’s customized asset allocation models, maintaining research on the specific portfolio investment vehicles and trading the team’s advisory accounts. Jonathan is also the team’s technology expert. Leveraging his knowledge has increased the team’s efficiency, capabilities and capacity for growth.

        Jonathan was born, raised and currently lives in Coxsackie, NY. He is a graduate of The College of St. Rose in Albany, NY where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Jonathan began his career as a Financial Advisor in 2005 by completing the rigorous training program at Merrill Lynch. He earned the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC®) in 2007. In 2009, as part of The Higbee Meier Digilio Group, Jonathan moved his business to Morgan Stanley. His career has continued to thrive and he has earned the title of Associate Vice President.

        Jonathan and his wife Deidre have two young children. Together they are very active in their community and school. Besides spending time with his family, Jonathan enjoys woodworking and inventing and is a blue belt in Jiu Jitsu.

        About Me

        Drawing on 14 years of experience as a Client Service Associate, Corrina takes pride in being the first point of contact for clients of the Higbee Meier Digilio Group at Morgan Stanley. Highly adept at addressing issues quickly and efficiently, Corrina is committed to providing each client with the highest level of personal service. She is an integral member of the team.

         From the largest task to the smallest request, Corrina works tirelessly to exceed client expectations. Her core responsibilities are essential to enabling the team to carry out its mission of providing customized financial solutions and portfolio management. She is responsible for all administrative and operational duties for the team.

         She began her career in 2004 and has spent that entire time at Morgan Stanley. A graduate of Columbia-Greene Community College with an Associate Degree in Business Administration, Corrina is a lifelong resident of New York’s Hudson Valley. She is currently married and has two adult children. Corrina is a member of the Greene County Region NY13 Blue Star Mothers, supports her disabled son in Special Olympics Bowling and Basketball and is a lifelong member of the High Hill United Methodist Church.
