About Marcelo Tebet
Marcelo was born and raised in Londrina, Brazil, and played professional tennis for six years before committing to play Division 1 tennis for Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). As a professional tennis player, he had the opportunity to travel to over 30+ countries on a very demanding schedule for the ITF/ATP tour. After playing the Davis Cup for Brazil in 2012 and the U.S. Open Championships in 2013, Marcelo ended his tennis career in 2017 due to knee injuries.
Marcelo graduated FGCU in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Entrepreneurship and served as the Men’s Tennis Assistant Coach at FGCU for two seasons, while pursuing his Master’s Degree from the FGCU Develer & Kauanui School of Entrepreneurship.
He holds the Wealth Management Specialist certification from the College for Financial Planning and provides a holistic and tailored approach to High and Ultra-High Net Worth individuals, families, and business owners. He is specialized in Asset Allocation, Financial Planning, and Tax-Efficient Investment Strategies.
On a personal note, Marcelo enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Lexi, and being active. Golf, tennis and Formula 1 racing are his passions.
