About Patrick J Schwarz

Patrick (PJ) Schwarz is the Founder and Managing Partner of The Patrick Schwarz Group, a team of seven investment professionals housed within Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management division. Based in the firm’s headquarters in New York City, PJ has over 30 years of experience servicing the multi-faceted financial needs of wealthy individuals and their families, accomplished entrepreneurs, and business owners. His areas of concentration include investment management, portfolio construction, financial planning, and alternative investments.

The team’s servicing model provides a rare and holistic experience leveraging Morgan Stanley’s extensive network of resources and specialists. The team is highly capable in addressing complex financial and familial needs by liaising with client’s outside advisors to provide straightforward and comprehensive solutions. The team’s approach is rooted in personalized financial planning that integrates portfolio and risk management, investment selection, retirement & cash flow planning, tax and estate planning strategies, insurance, wealth transfer, cash management and lending services. With three CFP’s on the team, a proprietary and fully customized Family Summary is created and maintained for each client, serving as an important organizational reference and roadmap. Transparency and fluid communication are an integral part of the team’s process to deliver a top tier experience.

P.J. is a graduate of Duke University with a B.A. in economics and an M.B.A. in finance from the New York University Stern School of Business. Prior to his career in financial services, he served in the U.S. Navy attaining the rank of Lieutenant. P.J. and his wife, along with four children, live in Harrison, New York. He currently sits on the Children’s Health Fund Advisory Committee for the Catalytic Impact Foundation and is involved with various local charities. He previously served for 10 years as board chair of CYO youth sports for the Archdiocese of NY.

About Stephen Muecke

Stephen Muecke, CFP®, is a Managing Director and Private Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley. He has been with Morgan Stanley since graduating Villanova University in 2000. Stephen works with a range of sophisticated clients, family offices and small institutions serving as liaison to numerous areas within Morgan Stanley. Stephen focuses on financial planning, alternative investments, insurance and lending solutions, as well as the capital markets platform. He is a Certified Financial Planner™, CFP®. Stephen is on the Board of the Coast Guard Foundation and for the past 15 years has volunteered his time teaching religious education to 8th grade students in his local community. Stephen lives in Darien, CT with his wife and two children.
