About Me

Rob Labriola is the founding partner of The Grand Central Group, where he leads a team of dedicated professionals committed to delivering one of the most comprehensive wealth management experiences in the industry today. With a client-first philosophy and a keen eye for strategy, Rob focuses on assembling top-tier talent to meet the complex financial needs of a diverse client base.

With over 34 years of experience managing assets and liabilities, Rob has worked with clients across the spectrum—business owners, C-suite executives, multi-generational ultra-high-net-worth families, endowments, foundations, and pension funds. His deep expertise allows him to craft tailored solutions that align with each client’s unique financial goals.

As a qualified Portfolio Manager, Rob not only offers traditional financial planning and asset allocation advice but also personally manages the GCG Large Cap Value investment discipline for suitable clients. This customized strategy, combined with carefully selected third-party managers, forms the foundation of a well-diversified portfolio. Guided by the insights of Morgan Stanley’s Global Investment Committee, Rob leverages both strategic and tactical asset allocation models to deliver best-in-class investment solutions.
Rob holds an MBA from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University and a BA in European History from Furman University. He maintains Series 7, 31, 63, and 65 FINRA registrations, along with state insurance licenses.

Outside the office, Rob is an active member of several clubs including Whippoorwill Golf Club in Armonk, NY; New York Athletic Club in Manhattan and Pelham Manor; Spring Lake Bath & Tennis in Spring Lake, NJ; Club Pelican Bay in Naples, FL; and the Campfire Club of America in Chappaqua, NY. He is also the President and Founder of the Katonah-Lewisboro Community Tennis Association and Chairman Emeritus of Boys and Girls Towns of Italy (also known as A Chance in Life).

Rob resides in Naples, Florida with his wife of 31 years and is the proud father of three adult children, all living in Manhattan.

About Gregory Pappicco

Gregory Pappicco is the Director of Investments for the Grand Central Group at Morgan Stanley, bringing over 16 years of experience in wealth management. In his role, Greg works closely with his senior partner to develop customized investment strategies, create and manage personalized financial plans, and co-manage the GCG Large Cap Value portfolio. He also provides guidance to corporate retirement plans, assisting with investment management, employee enrollment meetings, ongoing education, and helping plan sponsors fulfill their fiduciary duties.

Greg holds a B.S. in Sports Management from James Madison University and a B.S. in Finance from Rutgers University-Newark. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), a Certified Retirement Planning Counselor®(CRPC®), and holds Series 7, Series 66, and Life & Health licenses.
Outside of work, Greg lives in New York with his wife, Lindsey, and their three children. He is an active member of his community and is passionate about coaching youth sports, including lacrosse, soccer, and CYO basketball. An avid outdoorsman, Greg enjoys golfing, fly fishing, and spending time near the water with family and friends.

About AnnMarie Gunther

AnnMarie is a Group Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) for The Grand Central Group at Morgan Stanley, bringing over 12 years of experience in financial services and client relationship management. In her leadership role, she manages the team’s daily operations, oversees strategic initiatives, and plays a key role in new client onboarding—ensuring a smooth, personalized, and seamless transition into the team’s wealth management process. She is dedicated to delivering exceptional service that aligns with the team’s established service model, helping drive both client satisfaction and long-term success.

Outside of work, AnnMarie lives in Pleasantville with her husband and their three children. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, walking their dog, and experimenting with new recipes in her kitchen during her free time.

Robbie currently works as an Investment Consultant for the Grand Central Group specializing in assisting the team with creating personalized solutions for diverse client objectives. Prior to his role as Investment Consultant, Robbie worked as a Senior Portfolio Solutions Associate for the Consulting Group here at Morgan Stanley. Responsibilities included working with advisors to review portfolio allocation, suggesting alternate investment solutions and leveraging tax optimization strategies.

He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Elon University with a Minor in Italian Studies. At school, Robbie was passionate about running his small business, College Truckers, a full service moving and shipping service for students. Today, Robbie lives in Manhattan and enjoys spending time with his family & friends, tennis, golf, and chess.

About Giancarlo Barone

Giancarlo is an experienced Investment Consultant specializing in helping clients achieve their financial goals through tailored investment strategies. At the Grand Central Group, he analyzes client needs and recommends both traditional and alternative investments, ensuring diversified portfolios that align with each client’s objectives.

Before joining the Grand Central Group, Giancarlo served as the Alternative Investments Specialist at Merrill Lynch, covering New Jersey and parts of New York City. In this role, he gained deep expertise in alternative investments, helping clients integrate these assets effectively into their portfolios. Prior to this, Giancarlo worked as a Client Associate on a wealth management team in New York City, where he supported portfolio management and specialized in the alternative investments platform.

Giancarlo holds several industry certifications, including his SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 FINRA registrations, as well as the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation. He also holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.

A native of New Jersey, Giancarlo is an active board member of the Seton Hall Prep Alumni Association. He graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Minor in Italian Studies. Outside of his professional life, Giancarlo is deeply involved in his community and enjoys an active lifestyle. He is a member of The Campfire Club of America, The New York Athletic Club, The Columbus Citizens Foundation, and Forest Hill Field Club. About Lucas Bueno

Lucas Bueno is currently a Registered Wealth Management Client Associate for the Grand Central Group. He has been a member of the team since 2024. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business, he is one of the primary points of contact for our clients. Lucas works alongside Jillian providing administrative and operational support.

Most recently Lucas has joined Greg’s team to assist in analyzing research and market movements as well as economic developments to deliver timely tactical asset allocation recommendations as well as developing financial plans, performance reporting, market executions and portfolio implementation.

Lucas received a BA from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2023 and holds the FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses as well as Life and Health. Lucas is currently studying for his CFP designation.

Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, he moved from Naples, Florida to New York City in May 2024. Lucas was the Head Tennis Professional at The Club at Kaela Bay in Naples before joining the Grand Central Group.
