The Grand Canyon Group at Morgan Stanley conducts portfolio review sessions and offers comprehensive wealth management solutions. We provide personalized strategies for individuals and business to help grow, preserve, and transfer wealth in the most tax efficient manner. The Grand Canyon is a magnificent natural wonder. It is the result of a very determined river, with the long-term goal of reaching the Sea of Cortez. The Colorado River bumps into obstructions, works its way around or through them, and keeps moving. To us, the beautiful rock layers are like the many aspects of each client, of their family and of their life and goals. Each person’s experience of the Canyon is unique, depending on the areas they see, the time of day, their time of life, and their own focus at that time. Similarly, each financial plan is unique to each client, and is adjusted as the years go by as their life and goals change.

About Me

As a Portfolio Associate with the Grand Canyon Group, I am usually the first point of contact for clients seeking help or answers to questions about their account statements, money transfers, IRA distributions and other issues. I receive great satisfaction from solving problems for people and, for more than two decades, I have had the opportunity to develop strong relationships with many high net worth clients and to handle their administrative and logistical issues with skill and professionalism.

I have spent most of my career in the financial services industry. A native of St. Paul, Minnesota, I started out as a personal trust and record-keeping assistant at US Bank’s First Trust Company. After 12 years, I went to work at NW Airlines and then returned to US Trust to become a Client Service Associate. In this capacity, I worked closely with several Financial Advisors at US Trust, staying with them as they moved to Merrill Lynch then to Morgan Stanley. When my wife Lori and I moved to Arizona from Minnesota, I was pleased to be able to join the Grand Canyon Group at Morgan Stanley. When I’m not working, I enjoy watching sports, playing golf and traveling.
