About Patrick Galloway

Patrick Galloway a Financial Advisor and Investment Management Consultant for The Galloway Porter Group at Morgan Stanley. Since 2003 Patrick has utilized extensive knowledge and understanding of financial markets to provide a comprehensive level of service to high net worth and institutional clientele along with his teammates. Joining the Galloway Porter Group after moving to Nashville has allowed him to focus on these strengths in the Goals-Based Wealth Management process for clients. Developing customized strategies which draw upon the vast resources of Morgan Stanley, Patrick is able to provide top-level service to each client and family.

Prior to joining The Galloway Porter Group, Patrick directed an investment team in the Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida office. A native of Carrolton, Georgia, with an International Business degree from Mercer University—Patrick is now in his “forever” home of Nashville, TN. Nashville allows Patrick, his wife, and daughter to be close to extended family as well as a family farm where he loves spending time in Kentucky. An avid hunter and fisherman, you can find Patrick with his Dad and brothers at various spots enjoying these activities. When he isn’t doing these, he is with his family or utilizing some personal fitness time at the YMCA.

About Drake Porter

Drake brings more than 25 years of financial services experience to every client he advises. He began his career as an Institutional Fixed Income professional with a regional bank in Alabama but soon realized that his true passion lay with helping individuals and their families pursue their financial goals.

“Financial planning is the basis of everything we do,” he says. “I take great pride when realizing that my clients can be confident with their finances and that they can reach the objectives they set out to achieve.”

Drake joined a Morgan Stanley predecessor firm in 1997 before moving to Nashville to build a practice with Morgan Keegan. When that firm was sold in 2011, he returned to Morgan Stanley where he established the team that is now The Galloway Porter Group. Drake spends much of his time focused on fixed income and portfolio management. He works closely with Morgan Stanley’s Global Investment Committee to identify third party managers worthy of making day-to-day investment decisions for the team’s clients.

Drake loves his adopted home state where he now resides with his wife Jill and their three teenaged children. He is a supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and an avid tennis player and spectator at his children’s many athletic events.

3Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. 8An investment in an exchange-traded fund (ETF) involves risks similar to those of investing in a broadly based portfolio of equity securities traded on exchange in the relevant securities market, such as market fluctuations caused by such factors as economic and political developments, changes in interest rates and perceived trends in stock prices. The investment return and principal value of ETF investments will fluctuate, so that an investor’s ETF shares, if or when sold, may be worth more or less than the original cost.

Investors should carefully consider the investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses of an exchange-traded fund (ETF) before investing. The prospectus contains this and other information about the ETF. To obtain a prospectus, contact your Financial Advisor or visit the ETF company’s website. Please read the prospectus carefully before investing.
