Our job is to thoroughly understand our clients and their unique circumstances. This starts with in depth discovery leading to a comprehensive financial plan. This plan includes where they are now, where they want to go and the time horizon for completing this goal. During this process we are able to assess areas of strengths and weaknesses, risks and opportunity, and develop a customized investment solution for them. Using the detailed financial plan we create together with our clients, we are able to leverage Mike Maybrun, and his 20 years of experience serving clients and managing investments.

        About Me

        Mike started with Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley Wealth Management) since 1997, serving private clients, professionals, and business owners locally, nationally, and abroad. His practice includes portfolio management, asset management consulting, and wealth planning that emphasizes client-specific goals, objectives and needs.  
        His investment solutions include strategic asset allocation models which address various risk profiles, and two all equity models. Over time, the strategic asset allocation portfolios are tactically adjusted to accommodate changing market realities.

        Prior to Smith Barney, Mike owned and operated two private businesses. He and his family have resided primarily in the Sonoma County area since 1957. He is a CSUC graduate and served four years in the U.S. Air Force.  Personal passions include family, outdoor sports, aviation, capital markets and finance, and working with entry-level advisors. Mike and his wife, Ida, have two grown children and four grandchildren.

        About Me

        Mike was born in the heart of the Bay Area - Alameda, California. This is where his family owned a local grocery store since 1935. After the sale of the family business he and his family moved and have lived in Sonoma County ever since. Mike grew up in Sonoma County, so this is where he considers home.

        With a degree in Finance and Economics from Sonoma State University, he developed an appreciation to bring the financial service industry to his clients. Mike knew from a young age he wanted to be a Financial Advisor. While still in school he started his career at Morgan Stanley, first as an intern for Michael Maybrun, Financial Advisor, and Portfolio Management Director. After graduating from SSU, he decided to understand not only the Wealth Management side of the business but the service to client’s side by becoming a Client Service Associate at Morgan Stanley.  He worked closely on all things administrative during his role as a CSA.  After his time in that position, he was presented with the opportunity to help clients reach their financial goals through becoming a Financial Advisor and forming a team with Michael Maybrun.

         In the role of Financial Advisor he is able to leverage the research and tools backed by Morgan Stanley to bring world class solutions to their clients’ modern Wealth Management needs. Together, with Michael Maybrun, he helps create and implement financial plans that allow their clients financial goals to be realized.  He works with their clients to adjust all aspects of their financial lives to help them stay on track to reach the goals we have designed for them.

        In his time away from the office, he loves getting outdoors and hiking. Exploring strength based fitness, watching professional sports and spending time with friends and family. Mike works actively with two local nonprofits. He believes hard work and a never give up attitude can help you attain to any goal you set for yourself.

        About Me

        Mony resides in Santa Rosa, CA with her husband Tim and two children, Jacob and Melena.  She attends and volunteers her time at the local Temple.

        Mony graduated from Heald Business College with a specialist diploma in computer office administration.  She is a dedicated professional with sixteen years of experience in the brokerage industry.  She began her career as a Sales Assistant with Banc of America Investments(,) and with the Merrill Lynch merger she became a Registered Senior Client Associate. She moved on to join GBS Financial where she worked as an Operations Specialist and moved up the ranks to Operations Supervisor and later Operations Manager.

        During those sixteen years she has become well-rounded within the industry.  She has acquired skills within, operations, compliance and client services. With her extensive knowledge and skills, she is able to provide excellent support to team members and outstanding services to clients.

        Outside of work Mony enjoys spending time with her family, camping, watching  football and taking family trips.
