About Me

Michael works with a select group of high-net-worth individuals and institutions to develop and implement customized investment plans tailored to their objectives and risk tolerances. Michael believes that each client deserves an advisor that delivers exceptional, well thought out advice and unsurpassed personal service while adhering to unbending standards of integrity. With over 24 years of experience in the financial services industry, Michael focuses on providing comprehensive wealth management services with an emphasis on seeking portfolio growth and preservation of capital.

Michael loves working at Morgan Stanley, but when he is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Meredith, and his two boys, Austin and Remy. When he can find time, Michael also likes to take trips to go saltwater fly fishing.

Michael has been with Morgan Stanley since 2007.  He graduated from The University of North Carolina in '91 with a BA in Economics, and holds FINRA licenses 7, 31, 63, 65, as well as Life and Health Insurance licences in select states.

About Me

Ricky entered the financial services industry in 1983 and has been managing individual client portfolios since 1986. The wealth of knowledge and industry understanding he has obtained enables him to be the team’s portfolio manager in Morgan Stanley’s Portfolio Management accounts. While managing client accounts Ricky focuses on equity research, portfolio hedging strategies, and utilizing an overall asset allocation model in order to achieve the best possible results.

Ricky loves trading and helping his clients manage their wealth, but when he leaves the office, he enjoys spending time and taking trips with his wife, Diane. Ricky also likes to cook, preparing everything from paella to thanksgiving dinner.
Ricky graduated from the University of North Carolina with a BS in both Psychology and  Philosophy in 1978.  He holds FINRA licenses 3, 7, 15, 63 & 65.

Frank is a Certified Financial Planner™ who constructs customized strategies designed to help fit each individual client’s needs. Frank loves working at Morgan Stanley and leading The Founders Group, but when he leaves the office, he likes to spend time with his children, Susan and David, his grandchildren, Olivia and Quinn, and his new wife, Carole. Frank also enjoys golfing and traveling, hoping next to visit Eastern Europe and Peru.
Frank has over 38 years of experience working with High-Net-Worth Families. During those 38 years, 20 years were spent as a Branch Manager and Divisional Manager. He graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in Psychology. Vanessa enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Michael. They have two dogs, Dallas and Sydney, that they enjoy spoiling together. Her other interests include reading and relaxing at the beach.

David has over 13 years of experience in the financial services industry and began his wealth management career in 2005.  David works with high-net-worth clients and is responsible for configuring tailored solutions across areas of asset allocation, portfolio implementation and construction, manager selection, advising on both the overall market and individual securities, and other investment-related decisions.  Prior to this role, David was a Consulting Group (CG) Analyst, participating in overall business development by customizing financial plans/asset allocation proposals, analyzing investment portfolio holdings, and designing tailored reporting for new and existing clients.  David has been with Morgan Stanley since 2008.  He graduated from The University of North Carolina in '01 with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, and holds FINRA licenses 7, 31, 66, as well as Life and Health Insurance licenses in select states.  David enjoys spending time with his wife, Brooke, their three young children, Jack, Logan, and Wes, and is passionate about UNC Football and supporting efforts to find a cure for Pitt Hopkins Syndrome.

Gayle has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, both as a branch manager and financial advisor.  He has a passion for what he calls the  F's in his life: Faith, Family, Friends, Financial markets, his Founders Group partners, his Favorite sport, Football and the Future!   He believes strongly in the phrase Do what you say you're going to do, and make your word your bond.   He also says often, Doing business with honesty and integrity, and always putting our clients first is the mantra of every member of our team.

What Gayle likes most about his role as Wealth Management Associate is spending time developing relationships with clients and their families, some of whom he has worked with for over 25 years.  He also enjoys spending time researching different companies and investment strategies to help clients reach their goals with as little risk as possible. 

Gayle is passionate about his clients and his work, but when he's not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 47 years, Margie, his 4 adult children and their spouses, and their 11 grandchildren.  In his leisure time he loves playing golf and watching other sports, especially football.  

Gayle has been with Morgan Stanley since 2009 and holds FINRA licenses 3, 7, 8, 63,65 as well as Life and Health Insurance in selected states.

He graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1969 with a BA in Economics.  He was a 3 year football letterman while at Carolina quarterbacking the Tar Heels in the late 1960s and was named Co-Captain and MVP of the 1968 team.
 

About Me

Charlie performs a wide range of administrative and operational support duties for our group alongside Michelle. She provides exceptional client service, and is well rounded in all team related duties. She is essential in keeping our team organized and efficient.
Charlie enjoys spending time with her family, and she loves to cook.  While she loves her college town of Chapel Hill (Go Heels!), you will often find her enjoying and exploring her current home near downtown Raleigh.
Charlie has been in the financial industry since November, 2012 when she joined our team. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012 with a BS in Psychology. She is registered with her FINRA licenses Series 7 and 66.
