About Renato Reali

Renato is a Managing Director and a Senior Portfolio Manager for The Fortis Group. He provides comprehensive wealth management solutions to clients and institutions, focusing on helping grow and preserve their wealth and offering thoughtful advice on every financial concern.

Renato's 40-plus years in the industry have empowered him to effectively serve multiple generations of ultra-high net worth clients and their families. So much so, his work has been recognized by Barron's in 2019 as one of the Top 1,200 Financial Advisors and Forbes in 2020 and 2022 for Best-in-State Wealth Advisors.

Renato was born in New York and proceeded to earn a degree in Criminal Justice from St. John's University. Renato and his wife Maria live in Dix Hills, Long Island and have 4 children and 13 grandchildren. In addition to racing his collection of exotic cars, he enjoys golfing and traveling specifically to Europe. He is fluent in Italian.

One of the founding members of the Fortis Group in 1996, Bill has been delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions to several generations of highly affluent families.

Bill earned a BA in Business Administration from Washington & Jefferson College. In his nearly three decades with the team, his work has been recognized many times by industry publications, including individual awards like Barron’s 2019 Top 1,200 Financial Advisors and Forbes 2020 and 2022 Best-in-State Wealth Advisors.

Bill lives in Rowayton, CT with his wife; he is the father of three grown children. He is a supporter of Trinity Pawling School and previously served as Chairman of the Audit Committee as a member of its Board of Trustees. He also served on Washington and Jefferson’s Board of Trustees. In his spare time, Bill enjoys traveling, reading, golf, running and mountain biking.

With over a decade of industry experience, Grant focuses on providing comprehensive wealth management solutions to our clients using advanced financial planning strategies. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM (CFP®), Grant has extensive knowledge of investment planning, retirement planning, estate planning strategies, insurance and income tax planning. He also works alongside Bill and Renato to implement custom portfolio solutions and provide ongoing portfolio management. His contributions to the team have been externally recognized, as he's been named to Forbes' Best-in-State Next Gen Advisors for two consecutive years.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Grant graduated from Washington and Jefferson College with a B.A. in Business Administration. He lives in Darien, CT with his wife, Kaity and their two children, Matthew and Claire. He enjoys golfing, travelling, reading and spending time with family.

About Erika Imbriano

As the team's Vice President and Group Director, Erika Imbriano plays an instrumental role in delivering an outstanding overall service experience to clients. Erika oversees and coordinates the team’s day-to-day operations, overseeing support staff and ensuring proper execution of administrative processes. Having forged close relationships with many clients, she works to ensure that they are always connected to their financial information.

Erika earned a B.S. in business from St. Francis College and holds her Series 7, 63 and 66 licenses. Originally from Brooklyn, Erika now lives in Bellmore, New York, with her husband, Peter, and their three children.

About Ivette Marrero-Wagner

Drawing on more than 25 years of financial services experience, Ivette is a consummate professional who is committed to providing each client with the highest level of personal service possible. Ivette coordinates various administrative and operational duties, including onboarding new clients, executing transactions, and trading stocks, options and fixed income positions for clients. From the largest task to the smallest request, Ivette works diligently in an effort to exceed client expectations, enabling the team to carry out its mission of helping financially successful individuals and families plan, invest and lead fulfilling lives.

Ivette joined Morgan Stanley in 2012 and has been a member of The Fortis Group since 2021. In addition to her responsibilities on the team, she is also the Client Service Associate Coach for the branch and responsible for training new client service associates who join the firm.

Originally from New Jersey, Ivette currently resides in Westchester County, New York. She is married to an NYPD Counterterrorism Officer and has two stepchildren, Alex and Elena. Outside of the office, she enjoys hiking, gardening, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

About Smith Brickner

Smith Brickner is a Registered Associate for the Fortis Group at Morgan Stanley. He is responsible for the development and implementation of the team’s investment management and financial planning platforms and oversees the team’s capital markets syndicate operations. He also leverages the firm’s advanced technology to produce performance reports and develop customized investment proposals.

After graduating from Mercy College with a bachelor’s degree in finance, Smith worked for TrackMan, a sports analytics company. He then joined the Atlanta Braves in their baseball operations department, where as a trainee he generated video and data-driven insights to improve player performance. Smith joined Morgan Stanley as a Virtual Engagement Associate in 2020, assisting teams with the implementation of their digital marketing strategies. He joined The Fortis Group in 2022.

A native of Long Island, Smith still works in baseball part-time as a scout for Baseball Prospectus - an MLB-credentialed publication. In his remaining free time, he serves as a leader of Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle's young adults group. His hobbies include traveling, running, and exploring the outdoors.
