    About Me

    Tricia M. Fontan-Sorlie is a Vice President at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.  She studied accounting at St. Thomas University in St. Paul, Minnesota and successfully passed her CPA exam in 1996 (currently non-practicing).  She began her professional investment career at Wells Fargo Advisors in 1998 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2011.

    Utilizing market insights and extensive experience, Tricia has been able to leverage the most up-to-date market resources which seek to maximize returns for her clients.  She helps create customized investment solutions for clients her goal has been to consistently deliver results.  Tricia is dedicated to a service-centered approach and committed to building long-term relationships with clients.  Through many clients’ referrals, she has built a major client practice in Nevada.  Tricia resides in Las Vegas with her husband Lance and their two sons, Chase and Bryce.

    About Me

    Jon L. Erickson is a founding partner of The Fontan-Erickson Group and a Vice President with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.  He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.  Jon began his professional investment career in 1991 after graduating from Rutgers and joined Morgan Stanley in 2011.  Jon’s diverse career experiences over the years have provided him a unique perspective on the investment process.  From his early years as a financial planning apprentice, to his institutional investment management days, Jon has had a wealth of real life experiences that he calls on to help clients make better financial decisions.        

    The majority of Jon’s early career was spent representing institutional portfolio managers with companies like Dreyfus/Mellon, ING.   During this time Jon learned the nuances of portfolio management and analysis.  His focus on the team is dedicated to helping clients develop risk appropriate portfolio strategies to help meet long term financial goals.  With the assistance of The Consulting Group Research Team Jon has been able to introduce his clients to world class money managers exclusive to Morgan Stanley who specialize in many different investment strategies.  These strategies are implemented according to the client’s personal goals and monitored regularly. 

    Jon is married to Amy and they have four children ages 10 through 15.  He is very active with his children’s activities including baseball and gymnastics but personally enjoys swimming, cycling, skiing, and anything involving the outdoors.  As a member of Red Rock Country Club you will often find Jon socializing or working out in the member’s clubhouse.
