About Me

Steve Finewood was born and raised in Newark, NY. He went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Business from the State University of New York in Fredonia.  Steve began his career in the Financial Services Industry in 1981.  He joined Morgan Stanley and its predecessors in 1987. He is currently a Senior Vice President of Wealth Management and serves as the Branch Manager of the Geneva Office of Morgan Stanley. Steve brings over 37 years of experience to the team and has navigated his clients through many different financial markets. Steve also has his Portfolio Manager designation.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and grandchildren. Some of his hobbies include golfing, boating and fishing.

Nancy Mellegard was born and raised in South Dakota and came to New York in 1990. She joined the Firm in 1994 and over the last 24 years has held various roles at Morgan Stanley. She started her career as a Sales Assistant and took over as the Operations Manager in 1996. In 2005, she transitioned into a role as a Financial Advisor, which more aligned with her true passion, which was assisting clients with their financial needs and helping them achieve their financial goals.  Nancy has extensive experience in individual stock selection and is heavily focused on client service for the team.

Nancy enjoys spending her free time riding horses, gardening, playing golf and traveling with family and friends.

John Resch grew up in Phelps, NY and graduated from Midlakes High School with High Honors. He went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Business Management from SUNY Geneseo. John began his career in the Financial Services Industry in 2000 where we worked at Bank of America in a number of roles, including Branch Manager and Premier Client Manager, where he managed over 300 high net worth households. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2011 as a Private Banker and in 2015 decided to move to the Geneva Office as a Financial Advisor. John brings his banking and lending experience to the team. He is also heavily focused on financial planning.

In his free time, John enjoys hiking, running and spending time with friends, family and his dogs.

Marianne Piscitelli was born and raised in Wisconsin and relocated to New York in 1973.  She joined Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firms in 1999.  Prior to that, she was Clerk-Treasurer for the Village of Seneca Falls.  In her role as Senior Registered Associate, Marianne is focused on serving the families the team works with by building deep client relationships in order to effectively assist with their needs.  Her extensive client service and operational knowledge are a crucial contribution to the families we serve each day.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and extended family. 

About Me

Drawing on more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Lynn provides a wide range of services for clients.As a Senior Registered Associate, she is responsible to managing administrative and operational activities, handling day to day workflow and client administrative requests.

Lynn is highly skilled in onboarding new clients, while deepening relationships with existing ones.  Her many talents are grounded in her attention to detail, yet she is equally adept at handling client issues with both empathy and efficiency.

Lynn began her career in the financial industry in 1984 at Smith Barney.  She has been with the successor firms until the final merge with Morgan Stanley in 2009.  Lynn holds the Series 7, 66, 3, 9, 10 FINRA registrations and remains committed to continued professional development.

Lynn lives in Ovid, NY with her husband Dale.  Her three grandsons live across the street and she is very active with them.  Outside the office, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
