The EM Hersh Group at Morgan Stanley is a multigenerational group with over 35 years of experience in financial services. Our group focuses on estate planning strategies, implementation of trusts, and family wealth planning. We offer tax-free municipal bonds, cash management and lending, and separately managed equity accounts, as well as alternative investments where appropriate. We utilize insurance and annuity products when appropriate, and have access to the full range of financial services and world class resources available through Morgan Stanley. Leading up to, and during, a client’s retirement years, we provide cash flow planning, multi-generational gifting, and endowment strategies to help secure clients desired legacy and ensure they never outlive their wealth.
Our comprehensive wealth management process begins with an in-depth discussion of your current situation and future goals to develop an understanding of who you are and what is important to you. About Eric Hersh
Originally from Montreal, Canada, Eric moved to South Florida in 1977 and began his career in the financial services business in 1990 with Shearson Lehman Brothers after owning and operating several successful small businesses.
In 1998 he took a position with Raymond James & Associates to open a branch office in Weston, Florida, where he was the Branch Manager, and a Senior Vice-President, Investments.
In April 2009, Eric moved his practice to Morgan Stanley, bringing along Isabel Linero, his Senior Client Service Associate to work with him. Now, Eric is delighted to have his son, Matt join the practice with the formation of The EM Hersh Group at Morgan Stanley in 2021.
In addition to building a successful practice, Eric spent 20 years in public service in Weston, Florida, both as a Commissioner, and 3 terms as Mayor of Weston.
Eric and his wife Laurie live in St. Andrews Country club in Boca Raton, Florida, and enjoy playing golf, tennis, and spending time with family and friends.

About Matt Hersh
Matt was born and raised in Weston, Florida before attending the University of Michigan, where he earned his degree as a Mechanical Engineer. After 4 years working as a consulting mechanical engineer and earning his Professional Engineer (PE) license, Matt decided to change course and pursue his passion for the markets and investing, and joined Morgan Stanley in the downtown Chicago Mercantile complex, before moving to the Deerfield, IL complex. Matt, along with his father, Eric Hersh, formed The EM Hersh Group at Morgan Stanley in 2021.

Born in Chicago then moved to South Florida when she was just 7 years old. Isabel has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years.
