About Joseph F Egan
Joe joined Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in 2009 and has been an investment professional for over thirty-five years. Prior experience includes fifteen years of wealth management with Merrill Lynch. His focus is in the areas of Financial Planning and Portfolio Management. He is both a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and a Portfolio Management Director, a title held by less than 6% of Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors.
He holds a BA in Economics from DePauw University in Greencastle Indiana and is a member of the Portfolio Management Institute. Joe enjoys speaking on investment and financial planning related topics and has been a guest lecturer for over a decade at The University of Notre Dame.
Joe and his family are life-long residents of Lake Forest. He enjoys outdoor sports, especially golf. He is an active member of The Church of St Mary in Lake Forest and a board member of a local charitable organization. He assists in coaching a high school golf team.

Anne Egan is a Financial Advisor, Financial Planning Specialist and holds undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Anne spent seven years specializing in tax at PwC and Abbott Laboratories and obtained her CPA license. Born and raised in Lake Forest, she now resides in Lincoln Park. She serves as a volunteer and auxiliary board member for the Metro Achievement Center, a tutoring and mentoring program for inner-city girls. In her free time, she can be found golfing, paddling Lake Michigan or hiking. Her focus within the Deerpath group is to advise on tax-efficient investment and financial planning strategies.
