Welcome

Our group came together because of our attentiveness to growing and preserving the multi-generational wealth our clients have entrusted to us. With offices in New Jersey and Florida, our unique talents and backgrounds are a natural fit for embracing our diverse clientele and their wide-ranging financial planning needs.

We pull from decades of experience, totaling more than 7, to help our clients with their financial, income and charitable aspirations. But first comes a plan. Most people know it’s important to set goals but don’t have an idea what a financial one might look like. This is our first call to action. With the help of a carefully worded questionnaire, we look forward to first, defining what’s important to that individual financially. Next, crafting those ideas into goals. And finally, designing a financial plan to achieve those goals. If you already have defined goals and perhaps have a financial plan in place, we look forward to putting a second set of eyes on the plan, reviewing it or perhaps making suggestions for improving upon it.

Our approach to financial planning is consultative. With you, as well as other professionals you may work worth, including accountants and estate attorneys. Doing so ensures all critical areas of your financial life are explored.

Every day we are grateful for the trust our clients have placed in us. If you are new to our website, we hope that you will reach out to start a conversation and see if our services might help you with setting and achieving your financial planning needs.

Meet The Costa Civitillo Silberman Group

About Joseph C Costa

Over 50 years ago, I was fortunate enough to accidentally fall into a profession that matched my skill set. Every day, I work with clients, many of whom start their stories with "way back when." I’ve been there when they married, had children, and grandchildren, and now, as they retire. My goal is to someday be an advisor to their great-grandchildren. I’m a part of their extended family, as they are of mine.

The profession is exciting. Every day is different, with something new to learn—whether it's the first pocket calculator or the computer we hold in our hands. From the embryonic industry of biotechnology and the advent of the internet to the expansion of space travel and the companies that nurtured these innovations—I’ve seen it all. And there is still more to come with the emergence of AI and, dare I say, self-driving electric cars.

For relaxation, my wife and I participate in 1,000-mile vintage car rallies once or twice a year, driving a car from a small collection I own and maintain. My daughter and two grandchildren are car enthusiasts as well. Currently, my grandson and I are restoring a 1953 MG TD. I also play competitive softball, squash, and racquetball.

To steal a quote from the Grateful Dead, "What a long, strange trip it’s been," and dare I add, "Still so much to go.”

Anthony concentrates on helping high net worth families and small business owners obtain their financial goals by creating customized investment plans tailored to fit the needs of each individual client. About Susan B Silberman

Susan likes to joke that numbers run in her veins. The daughter of a CPA father and a Math Major and Educator mother, she thought a career in finance was a natural fit - until she almost failed accounting in college! All that changed 20+ years ago, when she realized her other mathematical strengths and analytical skills were what mattered for a career as a Financial Advisor.

Susan guides her clients, using the power of financial planning, to help them build wealth – and security – through market fluctuations great and small. Additionally, as a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist, she leverages Retirement plans, both Corporate and Individual, as an overall anchor for achieving their financial goals.

In addition to the financial education she provides her clients and their families, she loves sharing her knowledge of finance by presenting to groups. Over the years, she’s been invited to speak to women’s groups, mid - and senior - level executives, CPAs, medical associations, retired union professionals, and has taught an adult education class on the Basics of Investing at a local college. When working for Morgan Stanley’s predecessor, Citi-Smith Barney, Susan had an excerpt she wrote on financial planning for college selected to be included in a money guidebook published by Citi.

Outside of work, Susan volunteers her time having served as an officer on two separate Co-op boards as well as on her children’s school PTA. She’s an avid swimmer, loves doing crossword puzzles, word games and simply enjoying her family and teaching her rabbit new tricks.
