CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER

Individuals certified by the CFP® Board have taken the extra step to demonstrate commitment and professionalism by voluntarily submitting to the rigorous CFP® certification process that includes demanding education, examination, experience, and ethical requirements. These four cornerstones set the foundation for the CFP® professional's ability in helping clients achieve their goals.     Education

    The CFP® professional must develop theoretical and practical financial planning knowledge by completing 2 to 3 years of comprehensive coursework at an institution of higher learning approved by the CFP® Board. Once obtaining the CFP® trademark, their education does not stop, as continued education is part of the recertification process.

    Examination

    The CFP® professional must pass the 7 hour comprehensive Certification Exam, which tests abilities to apply financial planning knowledge to real-life situations. The exam covers the financial planning process, tax planning, employee benefits and retirement planning, estate planning, investment management and insurance.

    Experience

    All CFP® professionals are required to complete several years of experience related to financial planning services prior to earning the right to use the CFP® trademarks.

About Patrick S Condon

Since earning a Bachelor of Accountancy and Taxation degree from the University of Houston in 1984 and becoming a Certified Financial Planner in 2010, Pat has devoted his career to guiding families through the complexities of wealth management. Starting out at Kidder, Peabody & Co. and later joining Smith Barney—now Morgan Stanley—Pat has become an experienced advisor with a special focus on holistic financial strategies.

In his role, Pat emphasizes not just the numbers, but the long-term journey of intergenerational wealth transfer. From crafting customized investment and income plans to managing investments for family limited partnerships, trusts, and estates, Pat is committed to building financial futures that helps prepare not just today’s, but tomorrow’s generations as well.

A proud father of two daughters, Siena (Warren) and Aubrey, Pat grew up in Clear Lake City, Texas, and now resides in Houston. About Mark M Fournier

Mark M. Fournier brings decades of experience and a global perspective to wealth management. A Certified Financial Planner™ with a BA in Political Science from Southern Methodist University and a Master’s in International Affairs from Columbia University, Mark joined Smith Barney—now Morgan Stanley—in 1997. His earlier career included senior sales and regional roles with Seagram Distillers (1980–1984) and Montres Rolex (1984–1997), where he developed a deep understanding of relationship management, brand trust, and long-term value.

Today, Mark focuses on helping families preserve and transition wealth across generations, with an emphasis on practical strategies that align investment planning with real-life legacies. His approach is rooted in both financial discipline and personal connection—reflecting a deep commitment to stewardship and stability. In addition, Mark helps clients utilize donor-advised funds and other charitable giving strategies as part of their intergenerational wealth planning.

Raised in Dallas and now based in Houston, Mark and his wife Dawn have two adult children, Whitney (Alex) and Andy. Outside of work, he is a longtime contributor to the U.S. soccer community as a referee, instructor, and assessor for the United States Soccer Federation, and he remains active with the South Texas Youth Soccer Association and the South Texas Soccer Referee Discipline and Penalty Committees.

About Matthew Savard

Matt brings nearly two decades of experience in helping families plan for lasting financial security across generations. After earning a B.S. in Finance from Trinity University in 2004, he completed his MBA at the Bauer School of Business at the University of Houston in 2010. In April 2025, Matt earned the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation, further deepening his ability to guide clients through the complexities of wealth management.

He began his career in 2005 at Citi Smith Barney as a Stock Plan Administrator, later entering the Financial Advisor Associate (FAA) program in 2011. Since becoming a Financial Advisor in 2014, Matt has built a growing practice at Morgan Stanley, focusing on equity compensation, retirement strategies, and intergenerational wealth transfer. He also leads outreach efforts to engage and educate the second and third generations of our clients’ families—helping to ensure a seamless and informed transition of wealth and values.

Originally from Katy, Texas, Matt now lives in Houston’s Spring Branch neighborhood with his wife Sarah, and their two children, Logan and Jackson. With over 30 years of experience in financial services, Julie Fielder is a cornerstone of our client administration team. She facilitates client onboarding, handling income distributions from Family Limited Partnerships, trusts, IRAs and investment accounts, wire transfers, charitable IRA distributions and managing tax reporting. Julie is also the go-to person for assisting clients with Morgan Stanley’s online and mobile applications.

A proud graduate of the University of Houston–Downtown, she completed her Bachelor of Finance degree in 2000 through evening and weekend classes while working full-time in the industry, underscoring her drive, discipline, and commitment to professional excellence.

Julie and her husband Tracy live in Houston with their son, Austen. She enjoys volunteering at her church, giving time to the Houston Food Bank, and spending her free hours gardening, camping, and enjoying the outdoors with her family.

About Lindsey Shiflett

Lindsey Shiflett is a Consulting Group Analyst at Morgan Stanley, where she began her career in 2012 shortly after graduating magna cum laude from Houston Christian University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. Since joining the firm, she has supported a growing team of Financial Advisors by providing portfolio analysis, investment due diligence, asset allocation strategies, financial planning, and performance reporting. Lindsey also serves as a key client contact, helping coordinate and schedule portfolio reviews.

Lindsey and her husband Byron live in Angleton, Texas with their beloved pets. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, hunting, fishing, gardening and logging miles on her Peloton bike.
