How We Work With You

Most Financial Advisors work with prospective clients to help articulate clients’ goals and what they feel might be standing in their way of achieving them. We go several steps further.
    Icon Image
    1. Our Initial Meeting
Our initial meeting is only the first of multiple face-to-face conferences in which we get to know you and your family as people, not just investors. At the same time, we want to increase your comfort level with our approach because we know that, sooner or later, negative markets and unforeseen life events can challenge the advisor-client relationship. By building your trust, we can help you weather the inevitable storms that might otherwise impede your progress and throw you off course.
    Icon Image
    2. The Information We Gather
The information we gather in our first meeting allows us to create a written, formalized financial plan. The plan we create contains an investment strategy that is based on your risk tolerance, time frame and need for liquidity. It also goes far beyond your investments to encompass virtually every aspect of your financial life, from caring for an aging parent to educating your children about investment basics and the responsibilities that come with wealth.
    Icon Image
    3. Monitoring Your Plan
Once a plan is in place, our most important next step is to ensure ongoing monitoring and advice. As markets and your life change, the plan we design will need to adapt and mirror those changes as they occur. Additionally, coordination of outside financial relationships, such as tax and estate planning, is part of our practice and designed to enhance the overall efficiency of each individual plan.
    Icon Image
    4. How We Manage Assets
As a Morgan Stanley designated Senior Portfolio Management team, we have created a proprietary, discretionary investment strategy that features a core portfolio offering participation in large blue-chip companies and satellite portfolios that seek to take advantage of market trends as they occur. The strategy features exchange-traded funds, in an effort to reduce cost and enhance net returns. In addition, utilizing an open architecture approach allows us to take an impartial assessment of what we believe will provide you with the optimal combination of risk, return and favorable pricing.
