About Douglas Williams
Following a successful career in the credit card industry, payment systems and customer service, Doug began his career as a financial advisor just days before September 11, 2001. At that time, he recognized the need to engage clients and listen to what they wanted to accomplish during those difficult times and beyond. A focus on financial education and working with extended families began to frame his client relationships. Doug often meets with client's children and grandchildren to teach them about investing and markets overall as one of his ways of "giving back".
Doug also works with businesses supporting one of their most "significant assets"—their employees with effective business retirement plans. Increased retention and focused customer service are all outcomes of the partnerships he cultivates with his business clients.
Doug is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a bachelor's in Liberal Arts. He enjoys wildlife photography, kayaking, and hiking.

Because ESG criteria exclude some investments, investors may not be able to take advantage of the same opportunities or market trends as investors that do not use such criteria. Diversification does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss in a declining financial market.
