Our wealth management process is built on an understanding of your short- and long-term goals. In our initial conversation, we won’t focus on asset allocation strategies or investment options. Instead, we’ll talk about your family and personal aspirations. We’ll learn about the hopes and dreams you have for your children and the legacy you would like to leave them, as well as the other causes you care about most.

At The Calabretta Group, we utilize a Goals-Based Process that helps us design and implement appropriate strategies to help achieve and maintain financial success, while answering core questions above.

These questions serve as the foundation of our comprehensive approach to managing your wealth. Our process provides the context to develop highly customized strategies so we may help you achieve your financial priorities:

1) We look at critical factors, including your life stage, savings, asset and income needs, and the current market environment.

2) We determine where you are and where you want to go. We then perform a gap analysis to gain a greater understanding of what it will take to reach your goals, given your time horizon, projected costs and how much risk you are willing to take.

3) We prepare and present a tailored financial plan with specific strategies designed to help achieve your particular goals.

4) Upon your approval, we set into motion a course of action to align your values with your vision.

5) We oversee the progress towards your goals through a series of regular meetings and phone calls, as well as our commitment to ongoing communication and education through emails, articles and seminars. Over time, we will modify your plan as changes in your life occur.

Our commitment to our clients and their success is the cornerstone of our practice. We come to work every day engaged in making a difference in their lives. To that end, we are focused on the following core values that underscore our focus on delivering an exceptional client experience:

• We provide comprehensive strategies designed to help meet all of your financial needs and strive to be a dedicated resource for any financial or life decision.

• Believing you are entitled to exemplary advice, we have assembled a group of highly skilled professionals whose number one priority is you. To gain the precise knowledge needed to effectively manage all aspects of your wealth, we work in tandem with your accountant, attorney and other dedicated advisors.

• We focus on building deep and longstanding relationships, based on transparency and integrity. We do this by working with a select group of individuals and families. This enables us to dedicate the time, attention and personalized service each deserves.

6Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should review a Program Disclosure Statement, which contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses and possible tax consequences.
