About Catherine Busot
Catherine "Cat" Busot is a Family Wealth Advisor, Portfolio Manager, and Financial Advisor originally from Medellin, Colombia. She moved to Coral Gables, Florida, at a young age where she attended local private schools, St. Theresa and Our Lady of Lourdes Academy. She then moved to New Orleans, where she obtained a double major in International Business and Management from the University of Loyola - New Orleans in 2009. Shortly after her graduation, she joined Morgan Stanley. For 12 years, she worked alongside her father and uncle until her father passed the baton and retired in 2021, after 55 years in the industry. She worked her way up from a Client Service Associate to now being the Senior Vice President of the Busot Group.
Cat currently lives with her partner, Eve, and their toddler, Nola. She is also a very active member of her community, where she serves in a variety of leadership positions, including being a member of the Board for PATCHES, Co-chair of Our Lady of Lourdes Finance Alumni group, Co – Captain of the USTA Ladies tennis team. In her former roles she has been the Past President of the Loyola University Alumni Chapter of Miami, the Past Associate Chair at Coral Reef Yacht Club, and the Past President of Organization of Women in International Trade- Miami Chapter. In her free time, she is very passionate about traveling, tennis, trivia, and spending time with her beloved family and friends.
