About Brian Burke

Brian Burke is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor, with over 25 years of experience managing wealth for individuals, families, and businesses.  Brian began his career in 1993 in the Ventura office, and quickly built up his own established practice before joining forces as with his father to found The Burke Team.  He has the Wealth Advisor designation and has received notable recognition and numerous awards at the firm.  With extensive knowledge and expertise in comprehensive wealth management, Brian has remained committed to advising clients face-to-face and maintaining trusted relationships.  Born and raised in Ventura, Brian went to Villanova Preparatory School in Ojai.  He attended Santa Clara University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.

About Erin Burke

As a Financial Advisor, Erin helps clients make confident decisions to preserve and grow wealth, simplify their lives, and achieve financial success. She enjoys listening to clients and working together to deliver advice and smart planning across many life stages.
Erin joined Morgan Stanley in 2007, honored to be a key partner on a boutique family-team at one of the most established, and most respected wealth management firms in the world. She obtained securities licenses in 2000, and earned the Certified Financial Planner designation in 2011.
Prior to Morgan Stanley, Erin held senior roles in product management, marketing, and strategy in the Bay Area, working at E*TRADE Financial, Robertson Stephens, and Charles Schwab.
A Ventura native, Erin attended Villanova Preparatory School in Ojai, and graduated with a Bachelor's degree from UCLA.

About Bill Burke

Bill Burke is an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and is a founding Partner of The Burke Team.  Bill takes pride in the fact that his entire career as a financial advisor has been at Morgan Stanley.  First hired at Dean Witter (Morgan Stanley predecessor firm) Ventura CA, in 1968, he knew right away that he would love his profession. So much so, that he has consistently been the first one to sign on each day--by 5:30AM.  Bill genuinely enjoys interacting with and helping clients, whose interests he puts first.  His goal has always been to earn the trust of clients and add value over each life-stage and across generations. Over the decades, Bill has received notable recognition and numerous awards at the firm.  He earned the Wealth Advisor designation and has been an active advocate for efficient cash management. Bill received his Certified Financial Planner designation from the College for Financial Planning in 1985, and completed the Morgan Stanley/Wharton Institute’s Senior Account Executive Program with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1988. Bill has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Santa Clara University, and served in the U.S. Army as an artillery officer from 1965-1968.

Mo Valdez is a Wealth Management Associate for the Burke Team at Morgan Stanley. For over 20 years she has assisted the Burke team in addressing client concerns promptly and professionally. She hopes to fully resolve client's requests to the satisfaction of the client while providing comprehensive financial service and investment support to the team. She has been in the financial industry for over 25 years and was previously at Prudential Securities. Prior to her current role she was in branch administration. Mo is also licensed with her series 7 and 66.

About Anthony Chavez

Anthony Chavez is a Portfolio Associate who joined Morgan Stanley in 2019. He obtained his securities licenses (SIE, Series 7 & 66) in 2020 & 2021. Prior to joining the firm, he lived in Madrid, Spain and worked for an NGO. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley and has a bachelor’s degree in Economics.

About Jesse Mazza

Jesse Mazza is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in California.

Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Jesse began his career in financial services in 2011 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2016 as an Associate Private Banker. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Private Client Banker at JP Morgan Chase.

Jesse is a graduate of the University of La Verne, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He lives in Thousand Oaks, California with his wife and 2 children. Outside of the office, Jesse enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, traveling, and cooking.
