A diverse, multigenerational wealth management team based in Boston, we serve affluent individuals, families, corporations, endowments, foundations, and corporate retirement plans. Our mission is simple: to empower our clients with advice that ensures they exceed their financial objectives and to maximize the potential of their full balance sheets.

Michael Douvadjian, our team’s founder, brings over 35 years of financial services expertise and remains actively engaged in the Boston community. As a passionate advocate for education, Michael co-founded the organization Edvestors and works with many business leaders to create change.

Michael curated a group of dedicated, next-generation financial professionals to serve clients with customized and comprehensive plans. We focus on three goals: 1) providing expert financial analysis; 2) assisting clients with short and long term life goal setting; and 3) creating strategic partnerships with other professionals (ex. Lawyers, accountants) to ensure all of our clients’ needs are met.

About Michael Douvadjian

Michael has over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. He developed his advisory business in Boston, MA at Merrill Lynch and UBS before joining Morgan Stanley in 2021. Michael was a Captain in the United States Air Force and has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from UMASS Amherst. After military service, he received a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Maine. He continued his professional education earning designations in financial planning, life insurance, and wealth management.

Michael is an active member of the community and is passionate about his civic interests. His primary focus is in the field of public education in which he co-founded Edvestors. He is on the board of the Augustus White Institute for Healthcare Equity. He is Chairman of the Investment Committee for The Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund. He is an investment committee member of Squashbusters. He also formerly served on the Board of the Chestnut Hill School and Home Base.

Michael resides in Weston, MA with his wife Lynne. He loves spending time on the golf course and watching his grandson Jayson play basketball.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Jennifer worked for over a decade at Wellington Management Company, one of the largest global asset managers. While at Wellington, she served within the Global Relationship Group, as a relationship manager, responsible for a broad range of client service needs for a group of the firm’s largest and most sophisticated Asian clients.

Before her time at Wellington, Jennifer worked as a senior consultant in the Financial Services Advisory Practice of Ernst & Young in Boston, a portfolio analyst at Brookfield Asset Management in Canada, and a financial analyst at The Hathaway Corporation in Canada. She started her career as an equity investment analyst at Jardine Fleming Investment (now JP Morgan) in China.

Jennifer earned her MBA with concentrations in finance and strategic management from York University (Schulich School of Business) in Toronto, Canada, and her BA from Shanghai University. Additionally, she holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Jennifer grew up in China and is a native mandarin speaker. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys playing badminton, table tennis, hiking, fishing, traveling, playing cards, and watching movies with her family and friends.

About Tyler Desmond

Tyler is the portfolio manager for The Boston Collective Group, leading the team in asset management, research, and performance reporting. Tyler grew up just north of Boston in the town of Danvers. After attending St. John’s Prep in Danvers he graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in economics. In the summer of 2015 Tyler obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Tyler is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.

Tyler has a diverse background in the world of finance that includes work experience in accounting, trading, equity research, and portfolio management. Since joining The Boston Collective Group in 2015, Tyler has been managing client portfolios with the philosophy that steady and patient long-term investing in high quality companies will succeed over time.

Outside of work Tyler enjoys mentoring young students, spending time with his niece and nephew, playing softball, skiing, and following the Boston sports teams.

About Joseph Neri

Joseph F Neri is the Client Service Associate, for The Boston Collective Group. In this role Joseph will be managing the day to day operations for the team including onboarding, client relations, appointment setting, administrative tasks, sending and receiving funds, securities based lending, and banking.

Joseph brings with him 12 years of industry experience. He began his career in Restricted Stock Services for National Financial Services LLC, a subsidiary of Fidelity Investments, assisting clients across every line of business sell, gift, and re-register control and restricted stock under Rule 144, Rule 144b1i, Rule 10B5-1, and Rule 904. Most recently, Joseph worked as a Client Service Associate at UBS Financial Services LLC in a similar capacity for both True North Wealth Management and the Scher Wealth Management Group. Joseph brings with him a passion for relationship management and wealth management.

Joseph is currently attending Merrimack College in pursuit of his Master of Science in Finance with a concentration in Analytics. Joseph received his Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a minor in Political Science, from Roger Williams University in 2010. Outside of work, Joseph loves spending time with his wife Stephanie, and two children Lena and Patrick, in Swampscott, MA. Joseph is an outdoor enthusiast and loves spending time relaxing at the beach, boating at the lake, snowboarding or hiking in the mountains, and attending sporting events.

Christina Berl is an Associate Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Massachusetts and Greater New England.

Associate Private Bankers partner with Private Bankers and Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Christina began her career in financial services in 2018 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2022 as a Vice President in Experienced Manager Development. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Financial Advisor and Market Developer at Thrivent Financial. She also served as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch.
