Michael Halperin is a Managing Director, Private Wealth Advisor, International Client Advisor and Senior Portfolio Management Director with Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. With more than 24 years of experience advising ultra-high-net-worth families, entrepreneurs and international clients, Michael focuses on delivering sophisticated investment strategies and comprehensive wealth management solutions across complex domestic and international financial landscapes. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he built his career at Merrill Lynch, where he served clients within the firm's Private Wealth division.

He holds degrees in Economics and Computer Science from Cornell University and an MBA in International Business. Michael began his academic career at Brown University before transferring to Cornell, where his distinguished himself as on of the top collegiate tennis players in the country. He was named Ivy League Player of the Year, earned First-Team All-Ivy honors throughout his career, served as Captain of the Cornell tennis team, and played No. 1 singles and doubles for the program. in recognition of his achievements, he was later inducted into the Cornell Athletic Hall of Fame.

Michael has continued competing at the highest levels of amateur tennis internationally, achieving a No. 2 world ranking on the ITF circuit.

Michael resides in Boca Raton, Florida, with his wife, Lauren. They are actively involved in philanthropic initiatives supporting organizations including Operation Shower, which serves military families; Curetivity, benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Foundation; and Cornell University athletics.

Earlier in his leadership tenure, Matthew served as Resident Director of the Miami Brickell office, Resident Director of the Coral Gables office overseeing Merrill Lynch Private Wealth Management for the Miami Americas Market, and as Sales Manager and Training Coordinator for the Boca Delray Market. He began his Merrill Lynch career in 1999 as a Financial Advisor in the East Boca Raton office.

He spent two years with the Marine Corps Security Forces Unit in London, United Kingdom, followed by assignment to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), where he participated in joint NATO operations in Bosnia-Herzegovina and North Africa in 1998. While aboard the USS Trenton, Matthew and his unit were designated for TRAP (Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel) missions during day and night flight operations.

Committed to his community, Matthew serves a a Board Member of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Foundation. He resides in Palm Beach County with his wife, Kristen, and their two daughters, Alexis and Brooke.

Felipe Gonet is a Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, bringing over 14 years of comprehensive financial industry experience to his clients.
