About Brian Tobin
Brian Tobin is a CFP® professional and partner of the BLT Park Avenue Group. He is responsible for constructing and maintaining customized asset allocation portfolios for each client’s personal objectives. Brian also directs the team’s Alternative Investments practice primarily focusing on private equity and real estate. He has been selected as an Alternative Investments Director, a designation given to an exclusive group of advisors who serve as an ambassador for the asset class within the firm.
Brian’s background in financial services dates back to 2012, where he began his career in the Strategy and Finance Division at Vanguard. Following his time with Vanguard, Brian teamed up with Jonathan Burkan at UBS Financial Services where he was responsible for building and implementing comprehensive financial plans for high-net-worth individuals.
Outside of work, Brian serves as Secretary of the Board of Hebrew Language Academy Charter School in Brooklyn, NY. He is also a member of the New York Metro Innovators Board for the American Technion Society. Furthermore, Brian is a member of the Holocaust Museum New York Next Generation Board, a community that seeks to engage and inspire young professionals and emerging philanthropists in the important mission and educational work of the Museum.
Brian holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and minors in Spanish and International Studies from Penn State University. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Brian currently resides in Manhattan. He enjoys exercising, traveling, and playing sports. He is also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State football fan.
